Hi All-

January is my birthday month, so I'm getting started a bit early since I can't get to my computer as easily as usual. I'm so looking forward to seeing your January hauls, it's such a cheery way to banish the winter blahs. Bring on the fun!

Nice skincare haul @scott1201! I agree that the Shiseido cotton pads are ah-mazing! I would love to hear your thoughts on the PTR eye mask when you eat a chance to try them out.

I like the cottons too, haven't gone back to regular cotton pads since I switched to these 🙂

I had some generic pack from CVS and they were horrible! They would rip up as soon as I put anything on them. These are so soft and don’t have leave any poofs on the eye. Looooove

Everything I've used since switching to the Shiseido ones have felt scratchy on my lids! I use them to soak eye makeup remover into my lashes so I can't stand the scratchy ones!

While I haven't shopped at Sephora much lately, I've been bad at drugstore shopping. I figured I'd give some new stuff that I saw and some raved about drugstore items a shot.Burt's Bees Toasted Cinnamon blush, Rimmel Insta Flawless in Light-Medium, Maybelline Age Rewind in Light, FitMe Powder in Fair-Light (warm undertone), Lumi Glow Lotion in Medium, FitMe Matte and Poreless in 118 (new shade to the line), Almay Brow stain (idk what it's actually called), LÓreal Infallible Pro Matte Gloss in Bare Attraction, Maybelline Superstay Lip in Seduction, Flower Beauty Blush in Peach Primrose, and the LÓreal Lumi Bronzer in Light (haven't seen anyone even mention this- I think it's a repromote of the Glam Bronzers from 2 years ago).

Milani Strobelight In Moon Glow, Afternoon Glow, Summer Glow, and Day Glow, Maybelline Master Chrome Rose Gold, Wet n Wild Gold Bar, Flower Beauty Shimmer and Strobe Highlighting Palette, Physician's Formula Butter Highlighters in Pearl and Champagne. I also included a pigment that I got from a WnW set from the holidays that I highlight with.

The brushes are an Real Techniques Instapop Cheek Brush and Moda Brush set.

There's more things that I wanted to get but I held back just a tiny bit.

Ohhhh - I love your haul!   I think I have almost all those highlighters except the Maybelline in Rose Gold, although Molten is one of my all time faves!   That highlighter pic just makes my heart flutter! ❤️  @makeitup305

@Tamara76 I don’t have the Molten Gold but if you like that one, you definitely won’t be disappointed in this one! Really really gorgeous. Have you gotten your hands on the L’Oréal Crushed Foil Highlighters yet?

Excellent drugstore buys! I probably need to start looking for low-buy options at Target/drugstores for some of my hauls! I've been looking for paddle brushes like that to try. Enjoy!

@Lazybeautybeast If you want to give this style of brushes a shot, I think this is a good buy. They're really super soft and blend makeup well in my opinion, it just takes some getting used to, since it's more of a swiping than a swirling motion. I was going to get some Real Techniques ones but those are expensive for drugstore ($17-20 for each of the face brushes!) and this whole set was around $16 at Walmart.

@makeitup305 I’m on the same drugstore binge! Lol! I have yet to visit my Sephora or Ulta this year but have been visiting Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens and Target! Love the haul! Also, check out the Dupe thread. I posted an amazing foaming Cleanser dupe for your oval brushes on Amazon. ❤️❤️❤️

@makeitup305 Great haul!! I started trying more drugstore products last year and I’m so glad I finally did! I love the Maybelline foundation and powder you got. I hope they work as great for you as they do for me. And I’ve been wanting to try the Maybelline highlighters since I’ve seen them in a lot of hauls on here recently!

@CakesCakes I've tried both of those Maybelline products before, I just needed some lighter shades to match my winter skintone. They're both awesome. The highlighter is really nice, not as pink or opaque as it looks in the pan.
