Besides the 1st for Canada and the 4th for the US, there are some beauty-related national (in the US anyway) days to celebrate: 

• July 3 - National Compliment Your Mirror Day, more about affirming your reflection than the mirror it’s in. Practice a little self-kindness and love this month. ❤️
• July 23 - Gorgeous Grandma Day, whether or not you have grandkids. I don’t, but I’m certainly old enough to! 😅
• July 29 - National Lipstick Day, a favorite among us lipstick hoarders lovers. Though let’s be honest, all of July is Lipstick Month. 😂💄

The lip oil feels great, @Sunnysmom! I have a similar color in the Givenchy Kiss Kiss lip oil, and that’s very moisturizing, but this is less goopy and I think I like it more.

A little medley of beauties - makeup, skincare, hair care. Used gift cards I've been saving for all the Sephora items so I didn't come out of pocket for these treats. 😊

Tonal Cosmetics; Sephora

Tonal Cosmetics is one of the 8 brands in Sephora's 2025 Accelerate program. I picked this up at the beginning of the year (clearly, still in catch up mode for hauls 😲). It's a cream foundation with mineral broad spectrum SPF. I was a little concerned the shade may be too dark when I picked it up early but the light-medium with olive undertone seems good about now. 👍 I was curious about the new Makeup by Mario eyeshadow (can't seem to tag this one) - this Mauve shade I ordered on accident (meant to pick up one of the browns) but it's turned out to give me the effect I was looking for - here's to happy accidents. Will post swatches of both these items later in the day or over the weekend

Sephora - Passport to Beauty Challenge

BondiBoost Mini Interchangeable 2-in-1 Hair Straightener Brush and Curling Iron null - I have the full size iron but it can be cumbersome traveling with it, so we'll see if this mini works better. 🤞

Had to pick up the new mist from Rhode - so far, so good @Samtian @ather As a surprise treat, they inclued a full size lip peptide treatment.

Fashion Fair Iconic Lip Shaper Liner Vivid Violet - picked this up (it was on sale!) when I went to swatch the Huda Beauty

Huda Beauty Lip Contour Lip Stain (unable to tag) - Soft Nude - these have really surprised me, in a good way!

@itsfi I swear there is a new Replica everytime I blink, I can't keep up. That is awesome they included a lip product with your order! Someone at my work has the case with a lip balm in it, not sure whose it is but I want to know haha.

lol @Samtian; so true. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like there have been more releases this summer than I remember of past summers. Or, maybe there's more releases that interest me? I dunno; but I've been working to be selective when deciding what to pick up. I was pleased with the added lip balm - whether it was an overstock issue or what not, it was a nice touch. Ohhh, now I'm intrigued who at your work has the Rhode lip / phone case - my phone is far too old for one of those cases, but I'd be interested to know their thoughts on the case.

@itsfi  Great haul!!! I can’t remember seeing Tonal on the Canadian site but I’ll have to check it out! I love the Accelerate program! So many great brands have come from it!!! Awww the mini Bondi Boost is so cute! You will have to keep me updated if it is as good as the full size or makes do for travel!! Rhode gave a full size Peptide lip treatment how cute!!! The spray sounds amazing!

@ather. the Tonal tinted sunscreen is from the brand's direct site; I haven't seen the brand at Sephora (yet?). It's a nice one so far; I'm between shades but can make this one work - having the little bit of color doesn't hurt either. The Rhode mist is good - product wise as well as the spray. It'll definitely be one I end up keeping on hand in my collection. Will keep you posted on the Bondi Boost curler - the sheer size of it is good with me!

That’s an excellent question @ather! And a hard one to answer. I like the Rhode mist a lot but haven’t used it as part of my makeup routine, just yet. I’ve been testing out other products and wanted to give those a fair shake first. Love the misting component and the mist that comes out of the Rhode a lot. If I were to hazard a guess, I’m inclined to say that both will end up as Top Shelf products. The Rhode mist is GOAT worthy but I need more time with it.
