Is retail therapy helping you handle hot summer weather? Or is this month Justifiable July Hauls for you, sticking to a low-buy plan? Either way, show us all the goodies you got this month!

Besides the 1st for Canada and the 4th for the US, there are some beauty-related national (in the US anyway) days to celebrate:

July 3 - National Compliment Your Mirror Day, more about affirming your reflection than the mirror it’s in. Practice a little self-kindness and love this month. ❤️
July 23 - Gorgeous Grandma Day, whether or not you have grandkids. I don’t, but I’m certainly old enough to! 😅
July 29 - National Lipstick Day, a favorite among us lipstick ~~hoarders~~ lovers. Though let’s be honest, all of July is Lipstick Month. 😂💄

@greeneyedgirl107 I hope at least one of those hair products works out for you! I know you’ve been getting more into haircare lately.

Also, I could swear I commented on your post before… either it disappeared, or I never tapped the Post button (happens sometimes when I’m in an insomnia fog). I’ll assume the latter. 😅🤦‍♀️

@WinglessOne thanks - I hope so as well! The OUAI Detox Clarifying Shampoo with Apple Cider Vinegar I'll mix with my usual shampoo maybe in August as I just clarified my hair in June (waiting one month is too soon for me). The ogx Argan Oil won't spray...which is the second one I got like that from Target. The Eva NYC is very different from what I thought it'd be...its basically an oil mist whereas I thought the texture would be similar to a leave-in conditioner. The Verb Ghost Weightless Oil to Fight Frizz and Enhance Shine was really greasy when I tried it on dry hair years ago. Now, I want to try it on my wet ends as a styling product and see if it makes them smoother. I keep seeing online how lightweight it is which was not my experience...but I wouldn't be surprised if this time it is too lightweight!

There are so many products I want to try, and I even emailed several companies asking for free samples but they all sd no.

For now, I'm going to stick with trying more hair oils.

I want to try Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Frizz Reduction & Heat Protection Hair Oil for heat protection, 100% argan oil (i had Josie Maran's but idk where I put it), 100% castor oil, Nature Lab Tokyo oil mist. And maybe Kerastase, Ouai or even Cecred. At least the 100% oils are cheap, and I can get samples of many oils at Sephora.

@CynthieLu I remember you loving it! I tried it once and found it too greasy, so I returned it. But I've been wanting something for my ends to make them smoother, and I remembered that you used this as a serum on your wet hair. So, I thought I'd give it another whirl but use it the way you use it.
