@faeriegirl  Aw, sorry the powder palette’s a bust. I’m curious: what don’t you like about the powder version? 

Like @Titian06, I considered trying one of these until I heard mixed reviews, specifically from folks who have and like/love the blush sticks. I had a lot of trouble with the WA blush stick I tried however long ago, so I’d hoped the powder duo might work better for me. Sounds like it won’t.

@WinglessOne  I had a lot of trouble getting them to blend properly. They weren’t near as smooth/ silky feeling as most of the high end powders are.

Sephora Rouge Reward: 

I don’t store my Motherships in their cardboard boxes. Instead I label their spines so I can tell ‘em apart on the shelf. Gotta label this one soon.
No I have not used or swatched my PAT McGRATH LABS MOTHERSHIP XII Eyeshadow Palette: Petalmorphosis yet. But there are some comparison swatches I wanna do, so hopefully I’ll soon have photos to post toThe Deeper Hues Thread (Swatches, Color Matching, etc.) and my Gallery (if it’s less glitchy now). UPDATE: In the Deeper Hues thread, I’ve posted some comparison swatches of Motherships XII and II (Sublime), a Danessa Myricks Colorfix (Evergreen), and the VBB Emerald eyeshadow you’ll see further down this post. 

Chunks direct: 

The pink clip was GWP.
I was hoping Sephora would get the purple and blue bow hair pins, but then Chunks marked ‘em down so of course I had to direct-order them. I wound up looking at other sale items and revisiting non-sale items, and a few ambushed my cart. 🤷‍♀️

COSRX, Niche Beauty Lab, Abib (via Amazon), and Medik8:

COSRX: 

• Pure Fit Cica Cream - a restock. Normally I get the thicker “Intense” version of this cream, but this regular version’s more lightweight for warm weather. 
• Centella Water Alcohol-Free Toner - another restock. This is still my reactive facial skin’s favorite hydrating mist. 
• Hydrium Centella Aqua Soothing Ampoule - finally testing this against the brand’s Pure Fit Cica Serum, one of my favorite ways to soothe excessive redness. 

Niche Beauty Lab: 

• Theramid Azid - a 15% azelaic acid serum I’d been curious about. Contains colloidal oatmeal, carnosine (a wonderful synthetic peptide), and several ceramides. I normally use OTC 10% azelaic acid; 15% is Rx strength in the US, but NBL’s located in Spain so yay, now I have 15% without a prescription. Been using it this week with no itchies or other side effects. I have 2 more bottles coming soon; tried to get that order in before the idiotic tariff madness ramped up. 
• Transparent Lab Invisible Sunscreen SPF50+ - because why not test one more sunscreen. This one contains Uvinul A Plus and Tinosorb S, along with octinoxate. 

Abib:

• Acne Foam Cleanser Heartleaf Foam - a restock. I have more in another order; I just haven’t opened that box yet. I don’t use this cleanser daily; I alternate it throughout the week with another PM cleanser. I’m just paranoid about Abib discontinuing it, so I keep hoarding it. 
• PDRN Collagen Lip Mask - I had a moment of “hmm, I wonder how this compares to Tatcha Kissu” when I saw this. Can’t find out unless I test it! (Fun fact: Kissu remains the only Tatcha product my facial skin tolerates.) 

Medik8:

• Crystal Retinal 20 - finished a tube of CR10 (0.1% retinal), started a tube of CR20 (0.2% retinal) in late February, and decided to re-up CR20 during Medik8’s sale. CR20’s not as emollient as CR10 or my usual Avene RetrinAL 0.1 Intensive Cream. I see Avene’s reformulated their RetrinAL line… I should test a bottle of that this year. 🤔
• GWP: Liquid Peptides serum - I haven’t even looked at the INCI list yet. (Note to self.) 

Ulta: 

I bought the Becca highlighter & FAB sunscreen. Everything else was GWP, along with…Yeah, I’m too tired now to take a better photo. 😄 This bag has no interior pockets.More GWP. There are 4 mini tubes and a foil inside that star studded bag.

ARTISAN&ARTIST Valiant Rouge Black Large Pouch - like the wonderful matching mini bag I bought not long ago, this one was on my wishlist for quite a while. It has several interior pockets for good organization. I put in all my Nordy, Danessa Myricks, and Sephora Spring Savings Event makeup + sunscreen and the bag’s only 1/3 full:

Supergoop! Protec(tint) Daily SPF Tint SPF 50 Sunscreen Skin Tint with Ectoin 42C - I’d normally get 34C, but this time I’m trying the next deepest cool-toned shade.

AESTURA ATOBARRIER365 Lightweight Face Lotion Moisturizer with Ceramides & Niacinamide for Skin Mois... - feels a lot like CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, maybe a tad thinner. Definitely thicker than CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. So far I’ve tried it only on my hands: left ‘em feeling plushly moisturized but not greasy. I’ll try it on my face in a day or two.

ISAMAYA Lip Lacq- Maximising Lip Plumping Serum Beetle - haven’t tried it on my lips yet because I’m nervous about that triple burn threat (capsicum, menthol, and ginger oil 😬), but I will soon! 

ISAMAYA Lips Metal- Sheer Metallic Balm Bronzite and Gilded - couldn’t decide between these 2 and I’m glad “why not both” took over. Bronzite’s deeper and browner than Gilded. THEY’RE NOT THE SAME, okay? 😂 Neither shade has Burnt Coral’s dramatic color flip, but they’re still beautiful in their own right. 

ISAMAYA Lips Balm- Sheer Lipstick Balm with Vitamin E Cardinal and Justice - I knew I wanted Cardinal, and now I’m reminding myself to swatch it against Pat McGrath’s Blood Rush and a couple other similar reds in my hoard. Swatching Justice in-store convinced me to keep it in my basket. Sure, I have some lip glosses that can replicate the Justice effect. But it’s very handy to have that in a comfy solid (vs. liquid) form, especially for travel. 

PAT McGRATH LABS Mini Dramatique Mega Lip Pencil Set Divine Rose + Mauvemoiselle - planning to use these mostly as base colors under various glosses. 

VIOLETTE_FR BISOU BLUSH Marbled Cream Blush Stick Marnie - swatched it in-store and had to buy it, even though it’s very close to Fenty’s Creme Brulee. Eh, different formula, plus Marnie is ever-so-slightly redder. 

PATTERN by Tracee Ellis Ross Mini Palo Santo Leave-In Conditioner for Curls & Coils 3 oz / 88.7 mL - a way to test Pattern’s leave-in conditioner and Palo Santo scent. My main complaint about Pattern is the strong fragrance (the original scent) in EVERY product. Really wish they’d tone it down and maybe even remove it from a few products, so folks like me can layer ‘em without triggered headaches or skin fragrance competition/clashes. This “limited edition” Palo Santo scent smells a bit softer to me, thank goodness.

Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Flushed - Matte Color for Cheek & Lip Creme B... and Rose N Brunch - thanks again to @Ispend2much6 and @danielledanielle for the VYD heads-up! I jumped right on Creme Brulee for 50% off, and added a full size Rose N Brunch because I love my mini of that shade. 

Byredo Mascara shade Magnetic State - I’ve never tried Byredo’s mascaras but remembered wanting this pine green shade, so I was happy to find it at Nordy. On. my hand, the formula felt drier than most mascaras. That’s not a bad thing, as long as it’s not flaky on my lashes. I’ll find out whenever I’m able to wear-test it.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre Eyeshadow shade Emerald - this is now the 3rd Lid Lustre I own, and it feels as smooth as the other 2. Funny: I ordered this and the Byredo mascara from Nordy in March, and I wonder if anyone there thought I was doing it for St. Patrick’s Day (I most definitely was not). 😅

Marnie’s marbled, so make sure your blush stick contains enough of the deeper brown color. The faint beige/tan at the very top of the Marnie swatch is the lighter brown color. (Rest of swatch is both shades mixed together.)

I keep forgetting how fussy one of my iPhone’s rear cameras is about closeups. Anyway, here are some Isamaya balms at different angles.

Thanks @Ispend2much6 ! Yeah, I originally planned to buy only one of those two brown blushes because I thought they’d look very similar. Sure enough, they do. 🙃 Even when I swatched Marnie in-store and told myself “see, this is Creme Brûlée and you don’t need both blushes,” I couldn’t leave Marnie behind. I just really like V_FR’s blush formula. (I already had another of her blush sticks.)

@WinglessOne just looked into the isamaya metallic- wow!  Great find.  I love metallic, but usually they're too metallic for me personally.
