@WinglessOne  I really liked it. I am a fan of stick formulas. My only complaint is I hate when you hit the bottom it’s harder to get it all out. I usually try a bit but get lazy at the end. I didn’t notice my bad sunspot disappeared but I do feel like it was great overall. I had no reactions which is great and it played well under my makeup!

Thanks for your feedback, @ather ! I’m glad this serum worked for you (eh, sunspots, and hyperpigmentation in general, can take many months to fade very noticeably, depending on the ingredients/treatment used), especially since you had no bad reaction to it. 👍 Hmm, sounds like it’s as hard to empty this stick as a deodorant/antiperspirant stick can be. I’ll keep that in mind. 🙂

@WinglessOne  I haven’t found any magical products to help with one stubborn spot I have. It’s just getting bigger. I recall having a beauty mark in the same spot as a kid and I scratched it every time I sucked my thumb and it went away. I’m wondering if it’s that.  But if you know any magic products send them my way. I will try anything.

@ather  Have you had a dermatologist look at it? Especially if it’s getting bigger, and most especially if it’s changing shape a bit. If you haven’t yet, please get that spot checked to rule out skin cancer. 

If it’s not cancer (I hope not!), then a derm will most likely recommend hydroquinone, IPL, or laser treatment to really impact a stubborn sun spot. Hydroquinone’s still the gold standard for dark spot reduction, and it’s very safe when used per a doctor’s instructions (and under their supervision). Sure, there are lots of tyrosinase inhibitor ingredients: vitamin A, alpha arbutin, kojic acid, azelaic acid, licorice root, vitamin C, hexylresorcinol… actually, that last one’s got some interesting clinical data compared to hydroquinone, so you may want to look into this ingredient. But in general, a doc will probably offer up IPL or laser treatment if you want fast results, with hydroquinone as the non-laser/light option.

@WinglessOne  Thanks for the reminder!! I just got a doctor again and I really should have asked when I saw him last week but it didn’t even cross my mind. I will definitely make an appointment and have it checked out. I dont know if IPL would work for me since I would have to travel to the city but I’ll definitely ask my doctor and see what he recommends!

Small Sephora and TJmaxx haul!

the only thing I got from Sephora was the Tower 28 Beauty ShineOn Lip Jelly Hydrating Non-Sticky Lip Oil Sesame (for a valentine🩷) I have one and love it so much, and I got a complementary sample for free in my pickup of the K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask excited to try this one out!❤️

i needed to repurchase some acetone and some makeup wipes (these are just great to have on hand😅). I love curlsmiths hair products so I decided to get their hair oil (only $12😄) and their Curlsmith Mini Curl Defining Styling Hair Souffle 2 oz / 59 mL. I’ve been wanting to get a brown eye liner for a while for the days I want a lighter more natural look so I got the Benefit Cosmetics BADgal BANG! 24-Hour Waterproof Eyeliner Deep Brown for only $8! Some of you might also know I’ve been looking for a makeup organizer for some time I finally found one today!❤️ I’m sure I’ll have more hauls to post this month😅😂 I’m trying not to buy and use up what I have but aren’t  we all?!?😂🤭❤️

@happyskincare Do you find TjMaxx has the same quality/freshness as Sephora? 

All I have purchased there was a Shiseido Eyelash Curler (which I heard is in some way different from the version Sephora sells) and I love it.

I’ve personally never have had an issuer with a product not seeming fresh @abstraktgirl🩷 the only thing Is that I always see if the package looks like it’s been opened or if there’s any product on the outside of the packaging🩷 I’ve bought over 50 beauty products from TJmaxx everything to serums/creams,body care,lippies,nail polishes,mascaras….I have “repurchased” products that I’ve boughten from Sephora at TJ maxx just for an example the Curlsmith Hydro Style Flexible Curl Gel I purchased my 1st one at Sephora and I’ve purchased 3 at TJ maxx🩷generally they always have good finds at my local one🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
