I love, love, love that you made a Summer Fridays haul @ather! 💖 And those Lawless lippies. There's some great MLBB shades in that new collection! Oooh, I will be very interested to get your take on that SC vitamin C + E serum.

@itsfi  I got the LAWLESS Forget The Filler Lip Plumper Line Smoothing Gloss George in Cherry Vanilla and omg the colour is amazing. It’s perfect!! I am in love! I got LAWLESS Forget the Filler Lip-Plumping Line-Smoothing Tinted Lip Balm in pink marshmallow it’s really good also. I love that it’s an easy swipe on. And the SC vitamin c and e is my third or fourth bottle now. I love it. I use it in the morning and I love how it makes my skin feel and it works well under makeup. It’s sooo perfect!

Oh well, that pretty much says it all @ather! 😁 I've been enjoying having my vitamin C and moisturizer in one, but I'm getting more sun these days just with my commute, so some extra vit C might not be a bad thing at all. Okay, it's on my list for the spring sale ... or a promo gwp I can't pass up ... 🤣

Sephora Collection Dry Shampoo Brush Cleaner - bought another can to qualify my whole order for 4x points during Sephora's last points multiplier event. 

Besame - add me to the list of folks who couldn’t resist the steep discount on those Disney Villains nail polishes. I also bought a couple blushes I’d been eyeing. Apricot Cream (in the smaller round tin) can double as lipstick. 

Kulfi Mehndi Moment Cream Blush, shades Lucky Lotus and Pinky Promise - my first experience with this brand. This blush feels thicker than Glossier Cloud Paint, but it blended out easily on my hand. Lucky Lotus is almost exactly the purple cream blush shade I’ve sought for a while. Note how heavy handed I went with my swatch (oops); a little of this stuff goes a long way! Will see how it wears throughout a full day soon. 

Polish Pickup - shades are Cadillacquer Lord of the Sea and All Mixed Up Lacquer Listen to My Song. The DRK Nails bottle is a top coat that’s supposed to help with magnetic polishes, but I’m not sure how it’ll work any differently from other glossy top coats. Curiosity made me buy a bottle to find out.

UOMA - one of the full size Badass Icon matte lipsticks is Miriam: I bought the mini last year and love this shade enough to buy a full size. I have some of the original Black Magic lipsticks that have a metallic foil finish, but not one of the newer glossy ones, so I bough an On Fire mini to test. Also bought a mini Badass Icon shade Sade for travel purposes. All the free UOMA is from the Send Me Nudes Lip Kit: the Badass icon shade in that kit is Eartha which I’ll probably gift away (which is why I didn’t swatch it); the Black Magic shade is Divine; and the teeny tiny lip pencil is Simone. 

LYS Beauty Speak Love Moisture Matte Lipstick, shade Moody - yeah, I couldn’t pass up one of these after all. I’m wearing it right now as a quick test. It’s creamy without being too emollient. Very comfy, good opacity, no streaking or patchiness, and no bleeding/feathering. The slim triangular case is wrapped on 2 sides in vegan leather, and the lid snaps shut only when its non-“leather” side is aligned with the base’s side. 

NYX - The Line Loud lip liners were B2G1. The white lip liner will be used mostly to tweak the color of lipsticks & glosses applied over it. I generally dislike lip oils, but the Fat Oil Lip Drip texture and pigmentation seemed substantial enough to win me over. Won’t know for sure until I put it on my lips. 

e.l.f. O Face Satin Lipstick, shades Drive and Effortless - when I first saw these lipsticks, I chuckled at the obvious NARS Audacious packaging/casing imitation. The “O Face” product name doesn’t help: my first reaction was “hey now, only NARS can consistently get away with that!” I wore Drive yesterday and it performed pretty well. It was a bit tuggy at first during application, but got smoother. It wasn’t patchy or streaky on me.

Aveeno Calm + Restore Triple Oat Serum - First Aid Beauty used to sell an oat serum but discontinued it before I could try it. During my last Target run, I picked up Aveeno’s serum with a $3 Circle discount + my 5% Red Card discount. I hope it can fill the void left by It’s Skin’s licorice root serum reformulation. 

Nabla Shine Theory Lip Gloss, shade Stardust Radio - this arrived from Ulta in a plastic box with a seal on both ends, but the seal on the top end was already cut open. Also, the cap wasn’t closed and there’s not much product in the tube. Pretty sure this is a previously opened product and I’m ticked off about that. Obviously I’m not swatching this gloss anywhere on my skin. I wish it was available in-store so I could easily exchange for one I can see for myself hasn’t been opened. I might make this a return instead of an exchange. 

MAC 4 piece GWP from Ulta - the lipstick shade is Chili and the eyeshadow is Espresso. No swatches because I plan to gift this whole set away. 🙂 

Laneige Radian-C Cream - I didn’t order this and don’t recall a promo offer, so I was surprised to find a full size jar in my box. I assume it was packed in my box by mistake. I can’t use it on my face but might try using it on my arms or legs—or I might gift it away. 

ColourPop Sage the Day palette - I kept telling myself “nope, you already have at least 2 other similar palettes, including another ColourPop,” but the duochrome shade compelled me. A few of these shades are surprisingly creamy, and 2 are emollient creamy. That last shade (Smudge Me) might be too creamy for its own good: it feels like butter but didn’t swatch well, so I’m not sure how it’ll perform on my lids.
