Favorite (Sale!) Fall Haul Item!!

I am excited about everyone’s fall hauls over the past couple of weekends, and curious what your favorite product has been! For me, it is the HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 4. I was hesitant to purchase due to the price and the possibility that one of the two blushes would be a dupe for Mood Exposure. Turns out it’s not even close. I have used every single single shade, and have learned a couple of new things as a result. 1) I never knew using two shades of blushes would look so natural, and 2) this bronzer is so easy to use, as it needs to be layered (on my skin, at least) before becoming too pronounced. This might be the first palette where I pan every shade.

I would love to hear what others are enjoying most from the fall hauls, whether it was a blind buy that became an instant love, an indulgence you’ve been saving for this sale, or maybe an awesome deal on a vault!

Euphoric is much more shimmery and darker than Mood Exposure. It also seems to go on smoother.

@eshoe I honestly can't pick. I've bought so much makeup in these last 3 Sephora sales plus the Beautylish sale that on the last day of the Rouge sale I couldn't come up with anything I really wanted. Everything I've bought I've been really into so I honestly can't choose just one. These are my top 5 choices from the past couple of months.

1- PMG Palettes- I've gotten all her new releases and love them all.

2- ND Gold- Gorgeous.

3- Hourglass Unlocked- This palette is fool-proof. It's a good makeup day guarantee.

4- Foreo UFO- So cool and I don't think it's just a gimmick, I think it does help ingredients absorb better.

5- Dior Backstage Palettes (Contour and Highlight)- think the hype for them died down pretty quick but they are fantastic.

Honorary mention: Sonia G and Smith Brushes- I've only used them once but I already know I love them.

I was wondering about those Dior palettes, @makeitup305. They look so beautiful and seem like they would be so easy to use/put looks together in a breeze. Thanks for sharing😊!

@eshoe I definitely recommend both the DIOR - BACKSTAGE Contour Palette and DIOR - BACKSTAGE Glow Face Palette. I know the contouring trend has died down but this is what I wish I'd had when it was in full swing. Super easy to use and doesn’t look muddy. The bottom two shades in the Glow palette are more like blush or bronzer toppers or very shiny blushes, which I don't mind.

What a fun thread @eshoe ! My favorite thing that I picked up during this sale is something that I picked up for a friend. I can't say what it is or who it's for (duh 😄 ) but I was desperately trying to find something for her. Then I just stumbled upon this item and couldn't click "Add to Basket" fast enough. I hope she loves it

@lmaster I bought the Unlocked but I was soooo close to buying this one too. I love how convenient it is to have powder, blush, highlight, and bronzer in one palette. @eshoe The Unlocked is more for light-medium to medium skin tones and has a stronger highlight than the Edit 4. The bronzer is pretty pigmented, too. It has all new shades. I think you can't go wrong with either (or both) though.

@lmaster they do! I have a few of the shades from the Edit 4 so I picked the Unlocked. I think the Unlocked might be a little more intense- stronger/more pigmented blushes, bronzer and highlight. I'm a light-medium skintone and I can make it work but I think if you're lighter than me you might need to be super careful, especially with the bronzer. The highlight is the same formula as the one in the Metallic Strobe palette from last year (the trio) while the one in the Edit 4 is their currrent Ambient Strobe lighting powder and is nowhere near as intense.

Thank you for the feedback on it, @makeitup305! I imagine somewhere down the line I may purchase it. I’m not close to Sephora so I rely heavily on other’s thoughts here and Temptalia for makeup purchases 😊

@eshoe  Don't you just love it!! I may get the Unlocked!! Would have got it during the sale, but it was OOS. I just love Hourglass' palettes!! Great thread idea, and will try to post when I get my order. I've been having trouble posting pic the last few weeks. 😏
