A few small-ish hauls from last month & earlier this month.

Sephora, Nordstrom, 4AM

• Positive Light Luminizing Lip Gloss - Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez | Sephora (product not tagging the usual way) in the shade Blaze. It was between this and the Spark shade. The latter blended into my lip color almost completely so I went with Blaze for a little more color.
• CLE Cosmetics CCC Cream is a repurchase. One of my favorite skin tints.                         
• Trish McEvoy brush set
• 4AM x showerthoughts reusable eye patches

Rhode

Rhode lip peptide treatment - lemontini (limited edition) - it doesn't look like this will be part of the Rhode at Sephora offerings next month. I purchased the bag as a gift for a friend, containing the Rhode Mist, blush from the current release and the lemontini lip treatment. The crochet bucket hat was a gift from the brand. 😍 Very kind of them; thankful for their thoughfulness. 🙏

Get it @faeriegirl! It's limited edition for the summer. I'm not sure when they will stop carrying / selling it. It doesn't look like it will be part of the collection making its way to Sephora when Rhode arrives next month.

What does the Rhodes Lemontini Peptide Lip Treatment look like on the lips?  I am already a big fan of the Salted Caramel flavor.

@tsavorite, I enjoy the salted caramel flavor as well. The lemontini goes on like a sheer lemonade-hued gloss that softly reflects pink and gold shimmers when the light hits it at certain angles. It has the new formulation that all her lip treatments have recently undergone.

Agree @tsavorite! Doesn't look like the lemontini will be part of the products available at Sephora since it's limited edition for the season. She has brought back previous limited or special edition items so it's possible it may be part of the permanent line at some point. 

I've been able to pick up most things in her line so I don't really need anything, but it's nice that some of the blush and lip contour shades that I don't already have will be available for swatching.

@itsfi  Great haul! Those reusable eye patches are so cute!!! 😊 and the brush set is amazing. I love how they all fit in the bag!! Perfect for travel!! So cute Rhode sent a hat!! Such a creative brand! That yellow bag is adorable ☺️

@ather, I love the yellow bag - it's such a great shade of yellow and the fabric on it feels nice too. I'm looking forward to putting it to use; maybe for next week's makeup capsule.

It's palette week @ather - incorporate one or more palette in your makeup capsule / look during the week. I'm aiming for a minimalist capsule next week. I'll have at least one palette - either an eyeshadow palette or the MUFE one; or, maybe both.

@itsfi  I was super late to this one. But I’ll pre plan a capsule for next week! This week I picked a new Rhode blush to try every day! It was so fun!! 🤩

The hat is such a cool idea @itsfi ! Love the looks of the Trish M brushes too. I know you’ve mentioned the MUFE palettes- do you love the shades and versatility of them? It looks very wearable plus blush. ( I am debating the M.Ph Underpainting palette even though I am sure it’s over my pay grade!)

@Sunnysmom, I can make the shades in the MUFE palette work for me. I imagine you have products already that can be used for underpainting; have you considered trying the underpainting technique with the items you already have for a period of time to see if you like the underpainting technique, before you pick up the new palette?

I will try that @itsfi , I’m sure I do. I think I was thinking it usually meant contouring vs also highlighting or concealing and I don’t really have any contouring products except I guess a bronzer? Thanks for the suggestion , I’ll try it! I was probably making it too difficult!

@Sunnysmom, contouring and underpainting are often mentioned together, but the underpainting application technique can be used with any one or more of: blush, bronzer, concealer, contour, highlighter. If you don't already have or currently use a contour product, you don't necessarily need one to try the underpainting technique.

Thank you @itsfi , I don’t think I had paid much attention to the technique but I will check into it for fun. I usually don’t do too many steps but I like the idea if I’m using a concealer, highlighter , blush anyway !
