It's the peak of summer ⛱️
Oooh, bummer
No Sephoria (yet) and school may start soon.
But we're about to swoon

Holiday sets hitting up your charge 💳

Happy Birthday to all the August BIC Babies!
@WinglessOne I need to try the Inkey list cleanser and balm. Do you use these to remove eye makeup as well, or do you use something separate?
@PrettyPaint I’ve been using the Cream-to-Milk Cleanser only in the morning, if I need to wash my face (I’m a night shower person). It’s a new release by TIL. It struggles to remove makeup, so I don’t recommend it for that. Otherwise, it’s a good gentle non-lathering option that doesn’t sting my eyes or make my skin feel dry and stripped.
For me, the Oat Cleansing Balm can remove non-waterproof mascara, powder shadows, and some pencil eyeliners. But for stubborn eye makeup (budgeproof cream shadows and liners, for instance; Danessa Myricks Colorfix Stix are a good example), I use Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover instead. That stuff can remove pretty much anything. If you’ve ever used Lancôme Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover, PC Gentle Touch is just as effective without the fragrance, and it’s less expensive per ounce.
My favorite Oat Cleansing Balm use case is “help, my skin’s throwing an angry tantrum and hurts too much to rub my face!” That’s when I use this balm on dry skin as a 5-10 minute soothing oat mask, then add water to emulsify a bit before applying my usual PM cleanser right over it and very gently rubbing. Then I rinse everything off at the same time. That cleansing balm has saved my face more times than I can count.
@WinglessOne This is so helpful. I tend to need gentle cleaners because my eyes are highly sensitive. That's great that the oak cleansing balm can remove non-waterproof makeup. I have been currently using the DM Colorfix stix, so it sounds like I may need something a bit more robust for that. That's a great suggestion to use it as a mask. I never would have thought of that.
I'm really excited that you compare the PC Gentle Touch to Lancome's Bi-Facil. The Lancome is my absolute favorite and one of the only that doesn't sting my eyes. I feel so guilty about purchasing it due to the price, though. I'm going to wait until I can find the Paula's Choice on sale and then buy a few bottles. Thank you!
@PrettyPaint Glad I could help! Paula’s Choice frequently runs sales at their site, so you may wanna get on their mailing list if you’re not already.
Bi-Facil was my favorite before I tried Gentle Touch. When I’m at a Sephora store (or Ulta) and throw a tester swatch party, I still look for a Bi-Facil tester to clean my hands/arms. A Sephora SA once helped me find a tester and offered up a different option. I replied “if Bi-Facil can’t remove it, I probably shouldn’t have put it on my skin.” 😂
@WinglessOne I just made an account at Paula's Choice, so hopefully I'll receive an email about a sale soon. That's so true about Bi-Facil - it is so effective at getting off stubborn products! I realize I don't have the ability to do this, but I've often wished I could somehow make a dupe of Bi-Facil based on the ingredients list.
@danielledanielle cute graphics for this post!
Thank you @CorgiMommy , Sephora makes some pretty cute gifs

Beautiful colors for a beautiful bic babe!! @danielledanielle
Awesome lippie haul @danielledanielle ! I had to get one of the Tatcha lip balms too!
That's an impressive MAC haul @danielledanielle; 😍 a couple of those shades take me back. Ahhh, the Tatcha lip tint. I don't know about you, but my experience with them is that they're more than just a "tint" - no complaints about it. I do like that they can be sheered out or built up easily.
@danielledanielle great Haul!
I love MAC products!
I haven't tried the Fresh Lip Scrub but it looks like it would work really well. I absolutely love the Tatcha The Kissu Lip Scrub 0.4 oz / 12g it exfoliates so well!
@Suzanne713 TY! It's a pretty gritty, but effective formula.. At least the previous one. Out of lip scrubs I've used, this would be second, I like e.l.f.'s older version the best, then this. I haven't used the clean reformulation yet, so picking up with the NLD discount was a good incentive.
Heh, I will be trying Tatcha The Kissu Lip Scrub 0.4 oz / 12g at some point
I love the MAC colors, @danielledanielle!
TY & Me too @curlychiquita , I live for an editorial color every now and then
@danielledanielle Lovely lipstick haul! Cyber’s another of my old faves; I’m glad MAC kept it in their reformulated satin bullet range.
Same, I'm late to the MAC party, glad to see that some of the fun shades are still available @WinglessOne
What a score on NLD! I love the Tatcha sunscreen lippies. It is an area i forget to protect and having a lippy that has sunscreen is such a bonus! @danielledanielle
@CorgiMommy , TY. Yeah it is nice to have "surprise SPF" The color isn't a deep on me as I thought it would be, but it's really nice and natural looking. Can definitely see this being a no makeup makeup staple
That backpack looks super fun @danielledanielle, and I love the packaging design on those beauty products. 😍 Tres jolie; tres Sephora!! @TeamBIC
