Thank you @curlychiquita! It was a very pleasant surprise. 😀 As for the Clinique, not everything can work out. It seems like a product better suited for oilier, non-sensitive skin types.

Oooh, that blueberry mask sounds good. I was very intrigued by the Caroline Herrera Blush. I'm not particular fond of the OG but the pink is a lighter scent, no? Why is the Salted Carmel balm calling to me?  Never heard of this brand 😍 @itsfi

@Buootiful, this new line of sheet masks has several pros. 👍🏼 I know not everyone looks for the same thing in a sheet mask but I was intrigued by the packaging being recyclable and the sheet being compostable. The sheet mask industry has been working on being more sustainable and it’s great to see that in this sheet mask collection. 

We’re the opposite when it comes to the original Carolina Herrera Good Girl. I love the original. I’m waffling a little over this new blush edition and really hoping 🤞🏼 the middle notes mix differently with my body in the warmer seasons. The scent I picked up made me not want to stand near me. 😝 It’s too bad because I really enjoy the start and dry down. 

A somewhat random question, but did you ever watch the TV show Psyche? When you asked why the salted caramel balm was calling to you, the first thing to come to my mind was the line from Psyche, “are you a fan of delicious flavor?!!” 😉 😆 I like it because I like salted caramel but it’s also performs very well. it does a fabulous job of keeping my lips soft and moisturized and the scent is a yummy scented bonus.

Ah, too bad the scent doesn't react well with your skin. I hate when that happens. It happens to me with every Maison Marigela fragrance. I only watched a few Psyches a couple years ago but dont remember that line 😂 @itsfi

Oh no! Every Maison Margiela fragrance @Buootiful? That's such a bummer; they have some pretty fragrances. There is one MM scent, however, that I really wanted to work, but it definitely didn't agree with my body chemistry. I like root beer floats even though I haven't had one in some time, but I didn't want to smell like it. 🤣 I do like their  candles; I find those to be truer to the scent or notes they are intended to smell like.

Thank you @lmaster; it took me by complete surprise. I was very lucky to have received it. Ohhhh, the salted caramel smells as delicious as it sounds. They did a good job with the fragrance on all the scented lip treatments.

@CynthieLu, the original Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm was my gateway to cleansing balms and I loved (and still love) it. I was intrigued by this new addition to their cleansing balm family - charcoal has performed well for me in other skincare products, but the granules in this are too harsh for my admittedly sensitive cheeks and a bit too much for my not-so-sentive nose and chin. Eek! It also does cause me literally tear up some. My skin is oilier in the summer and I'm considering give it another try then - and I'll mix it with a cleansing oil to possibly make the application more gentle. 🤞 Otherwise, I will be repurposing or re-homing the balm.

It really was a lovely surprise and well timed. Thank you. I spent a good 15 minutes trying to confirm that I actually ordered it (I was baffled because I couldn't find an order confirmation, a shipping notice or the tracking number anywhere) before just opening the box. 😂 It, coupled with the 3 lip balms I did order, gives me a full set! 😍

Personally granules don't mix well with my sensitive skin areas either @itsfi they can be very triggering. I hope you find a way to make it work for you, it would be so great to find a way to make it less harsh/extreme 🩵

@CynthieLu, if mixing it with a cleansing oil doesn’t work or it becomes too troublesome to just use it on my nose, it will become my new foot scrub. 👍🏼 A bright side to my skin’s reaction to it is that I discovered the OLEHENRIKSEN Mini Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Firming Moisturizer 0.5 oz / 15 mL while working on healing my skin.

Thank you @tsavorite! It came out of nowhere! I had planned on repurchasing another of the passion fruit balm and the glazing serum as a backup. Now I don’t have to. Yaaay! 😊

If I can take a moment to enable @tsavorite, 😆 the lip balm is one of my favorites - the formulation is good - thick without being overwhelming and the salted caramel scent really is spot on - decadently warm and delicious. 😍
