@itsfi  Great haul!! I love the idea of a gift card with an amount to hold over till July idea! It is such a great way to keep yourself accountable! Since the foil challenge I have been better with not making purchases but I have already made 3 😬 maybe that’s enough for now! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts about Kosas DreamBeam Silicone-Free Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40 with Ceramides and Peptides DreamBeam  and how it compares to Summer Fridays ShadeDrops Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Mineral Milk Sunscreen 1.7 oz / 50 mL  I had the SF sunscreen on yesterday and we ended up spending 5 hours outside flying kites and I didn’t burn at all. My husband asked me last night if I burned and when I said no I had sunscreen on he gave me a funny look. Maybe next time he will wear sunscreen!!

@ather, the gift card has come in handy for making sure I don’t overspend. 👍🏼 I keep it at home too so that I’m less likely to make an impulse buy if I happen to be in or near a store.

@itsfi , usually before Mothers Day Cashstar offers a great deal on gift cards. You receive a $20.00 gift card for every $100.00 purchase. I usually purchase gift cards from Sephora and Ulta.

@itsfi that really IS a good idea.  And I'm one of those people who hoards gift cards and I don't like to use them unless it's something that I REALLY want so that would be a perfect strategy to try!

@CookieGirl1, I've done gift cards for myself once or twice a year for the past couple of years. It does help with saving for a big ticket item or leading me to think twice about whether I really want to purcahse something. I initially wondered whether I would go through the gift card pretty quickly but what I've found is that I tend to spend less than what I've allocated for on the gift card and then the remaining balance either becomes "extra" spending money for the sales at the end of the year, or for another time when I want to be on a low buy.

Oh yes, absolutely @ather! The Mister definitely needs to wear sunscreen! Maybe he should get a bottle of the Summer Fridays SPF all for himself. 

You know, I am loving all the great SPF formulations out there. Skincare brands are definitely stepping it up in that area, as evidenced by the handful of sunscreens I love! 🥰 Before, I had one, maybe two, that I would rotate through. Now? Now I have more than one or two that I love. 😆 I’ve been wearing the OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Mineral Face Sunscreen SPF 30 1.7 oz / 50 mL for the last few weeks - it’s good!! 👍🏼 And now the Kosas is in the rotation; it wore well today so I’m looking forward to wearing it more this week.

I didn't pull the trigger on the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil Stain but I regret it a little,  everyone is loving them so much!

Hahaha @CynthieLu! There's so many great releases, it's hard to keep from grabbing everything. 🛍 I LOVE restock hauls - doing them and seeing what others pick up on theirs. The Rare Beauty lip oils will restock; just hope it does during the sale.

@CynthieLu, thank you, but the discipline part may not hold up. 😬 We’re only on Day 4 😂 and if history (on Sephora’s end and mine) is any indicator, there will be many tempting new releases that pop up during the next 7 days, and I will have a hard time resisting. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I would have gotten a few more but like @Loretta55 , it is drying. It doesn't feel drying but lips look dry at the end of the day. Fortunately, the drying doesn't get worse either-after a few consecutive days wearing. I wanted to make sure it wasn't in my mind but, after every day, the lip lines were more indented (if that makes sense?) when the oil wore off and the stain remained. @itsfi  😢

I received affection yesterday @itsfi. First impression was that it was not comfortable on my lips. I am going to give it another try before I make my final decision. I did not have any lip gloss with me so maybe that was the problem. @CynthieLu , I prefer the lip gloss version. Thank you very much for the swatches.

Oh no @Loretta55. 😱 I’m so sorry to hear that. Was there anything in particular that made it an uncomfortable wear for you? Or was it just uncomfortable in general?

It was very drying on my lips @itsfi. I felt like every line was visible. I prefer the gloss version. I also placed an order for joy but if I can’t get it to work for me I will return Joy unopened.
