Sephora’s Savings Event is this month.  Yay!  I can’t wait to see what everyone hauls this month.

I got my hands on a 20% from a coworker yaaaaaa!!!! Not the smartest move with the sale coming but retail therapy happens when it happens. 😣 It happened when there was a Sephora and Tarjay around the corner after I unexpectedly ran into my ex. Oura is an investment. So are all the bags of Easter candy I got on sale at Target. The press ons are the only things new. All I’ll say is this could have been worse but my best friend met me at Sephora and kept me to what I was low on.

@danapt, I spy some faves of mine and of other Community members 😍 Tower 28 SunnyDays is a go-to and Hero has made quite a good impression on me, those nose and chin masks are excellent. Oooouh, you have an Oura ring? I've gone back and forth over the last couple of years whether to get one. Will be curious to hear your take on it. While it has its pros and cons, like everything really, I've heard good feedback on it so far.

Getting caught up

A Korean beauty haul from last month, Palace Beauty Galleria, Los Angeles

• fillimilli Airy Blur Powder Brush 886 - this was a BIC inspired / enabled purchase. @danielledanielle picked it up and mentioned it was something @makeitup305 mentioned/hauled. It looked soft and airy and like it could serve a couple of different purposes, so why not?! 
• Aestura Derma UV365 Barrier Hydro Mineral Sunscreen has been on my radar since it launched in South Korea a few years ago, but I never got around to picking it up. Fast forward last month and I spied this mini size (and a tester) in the store. DONE! This one I've reached for since purchasing it; it made it onto my favorites list last month. Another win for Aestura as far as I'm concerned. Hoping Sephora will stock it at some point.
• Coralhaze Glow Lock Jelly Tint 109 Heavy wears more sheer and softer than the shade appears on the packaging.
• Centellian 24 Madeca Cream Time Reverse is another item that has been on my list but my local Asian Beauty store didn't stock it (or they may have but not when I was in store).
• Age: Zero Anti Wrinkle Vegan Bakuchiol Tone Up Skin Cream SPF 50+ / PA ++++ - I'm a big fan of bakuchiol as an ingredient, in large part because my skin hasn't tolerated retinoids / retinal in the past and bakuchiol is a good alternative for my skin. That, coupled with this having a mineral filter, good for my skin ingredients having hydration and well-aging properties that have performed well for me, and offering a radiant finish (glowy but not too glowy) sold me, as did my quick Googling of the product in store and my conversation with one of the lovely ladies who worked there.

The sheet mask brand is new to me, but the ingredient not. I've also enjoyed the products I've tried in the past from su:m 37 and The History of Whoo so I was happily surprised to see these included as extras.

While tequila isn’t my spirit of choice and I sometimes have a hard enough time keeping up with my own to do list (let alone the Kardashians) I was interested in the notes on the Salt & Stone x Kendall Jenner collab so getting it early was a done deal for me. They had a candle too and it’d be nice to see that make its way to Sephora but may be exclusive to the S&S site.

These are beautiful hauls @itsfi  I think the key chain is absolutely darling. 😍 Why aren't all minis that we might use in the day clip ons? It's so cute and handy.

@CynthieLu, thank you. There have been a few brands that have been making special key chains/pouches for thei mini sized fragrances - Skylar here and Kayali has a one for the deluxe mini sized fragrances - KAYALI EDEN Mini Fragrance Case Keychain (not sure if it's available in Canada?)

Thank you, that's very kind of you to say; appreciate you, @curlychiquita! A good time was had by all on that trip to the Korean beauty store - rows and rows and shelves and shelves of Korean skincare, makeup and hair care, pretty much all with testers, neat and clean. They also had a section in the back with Western brands but as you can imagine, we were all enamored with all the Korean beauty section. 😍 I was thrilled to see brands and products that I'm aware of or know of their reputation abroad, but that I haven't typically seen all that often in the Asian beauty stores near me, or even on the more popular or frequented Korean online retailers.

@itsfi  incredible hauls! Love all the K-beauty goodness - that store sounds amazing! And a bakuchiol cream with SPF 50+ sounds amazing, too. I have been eyeing those AKT deodorant balms, too - would definitely be interested to hear your thoughts, once you've had a chance to try them out! Hope you enjoy everything 😊

@caitbird, thank you, it was a lot of fun; they have a good mix of products. The deoderants have been working out nicely though I haven't put them through an intense workout, just some errands, long-ish walks (like half hour to hour) and such. Light scent so it won't clash with other perfumes. It is something you apply with your hands so there's an extra step of needing to wash your hands afterwards (vs with a spray, roll-on or solid).

@lmaster, thank you; I haven't gone through all the different scents in the set but the ones I've tried so far have a soft scent, won't interfere with other scents you may be wearing and have performed well though a long walk.
