Whether you open all the doors to your calendar at once, or you open a box one day at a time and follow the traditional schedule (e.g., 24 day unboxing beginning on 12.1 and 12-day calendar unboxing beginning 12.13 or 12.25), WELCOME!! 

For those of us who just can't wait to see what goodies are in our advent calendars, if you will be opening all the doors/boxes at once before the end of the season, please consider hiding your unboxing posts behind a spoiler tab so those who want to be surprised day by day can still do so.

Stylevana released a sneak preview of its 2025 advent calendar. It's currently available for pre-order, but there's a limited amount available and once that number has been reached, you'll have to wait until next month (October) to try to purchase yours.

YesStyle Advent Calendar has been very popular and subject to early sell out in the past. The official launch is usually the second to last week October, with a second and usually final set available the last week of October. There's typically two pre-order windows - both starting in October - one for YesStyle's Gold & Silver members that takes place earlier in the mnth and another available to all, usually mid-month. Sign up for notifications on the site.

Nail focused advent calendars typically start showing up on US sites in October, sometimes November. I picked up one from Manicurist last year and enjoyed it. If they will be putting out another one this year in the US (the photo below is from the Manucurist UK based site), it's one worth looking into. OPI, Essie and Olive & June have historically offered advent calendars in the past, available on their direct sites as well as Beyond Polish.

@itsfi Thanks so much for doing this thread! Mostly info I get coming up is for UK advents. I guess they do them earlier than the Americas. I am jealous of a few of theirs as they have got a few that are ridiculously better than ours. I did see Bloomies has their fragrance advent listed but no luxury mini sampler yet. Neiman Marcus is stressing me since they haven't listed theirs and I don't know which is more desirable. We'll see. It's nice to try more expensive items when the opportunity arises.

@Margalee, the UK always releases their advent calendars early for pre order or sometimes for flat out purchase. I feel like advent calendars are just more popular there than in the US, though I read somewhere that advent calendars have been gaining more attention in the US in recent years.

Yes, I saw and posted about the Bloomingdale’s advent calendars last night. If I’m remembering right, they were early in releasing their last year as well? My recollection is that Neiman’s usually announces its fragrance advent around the first of October. The fragrance department at my local Neiman Marcus had an in store event this past weekend so I figured maybe a couple weeks after that they’ll start rolling out holiday releases?

I’m trying to pick a calendar this year that has all new-to-me products (or mostly new-to-me items), which has been harder than I thought it would be.

Out of curiosity, if you could pick 3-5 fragrances to include in an advent calendar, which would you choose?

Yes, yes, yes!!! *squeee!!! I'm super excited to go through and hear about your unboxing with this advent calendar. There are a few fragrances in that one that have piqued my interests. 

Hahaha, yeah @danielledanielle, my plan for a "shopping siesta" for the remainder of September is being heavily tested. 😖 Though it's really my waning willpower that should be blamed 🤣 I'm trying to hold strong for a couple of more weeks. Hoping a few items will go on sale and they'll have another beauty promo at Bloomie's next month, and going to try to wait out the Rhode release, though with the latter, I can wait to see what it is first. It will come as a surprise to some, but I don't have every color every released by the brand. I didn't say I haven't tried one of every type of product 😉 but I don't have every shade. I have a few small packages arriving next week and the week after that should keep me distracted through September.

@itsfi  I saw these in Canada too!!! I looked at a couple and one was already out of stock! Hopefully they come back by the fall sale!!I can’t wait to see which one everyone picks up this year!!!

I don't remember if they restock @ather, I think they may since it is rather early and I remember them being around closer to the holiday season. Do you think you'll pick one up, for yourself or as a gift?

Last year, there was also an after advent (12 days following Christmas). I haven't seen anything pop up like that this year (yet). The one on the site looks like last year's edition (and says it's OOS).

@itsfi  I think I only saw 2 on the Canadian site but I could be wrong. I got the 12 days after Christmas advent calendar for my mom and myself for the last 2 years. We had so much fun opening it and talking about the products! 

Hmm I’m not to sure yet. I was hoping for the after Christmas one. But it’s early. Maybe it will still get launched. 

Side note I saw Kitsch posted an advent calendar which I don’t remember seeing before. I can’t wait to see what other brands launch one!
