Sephoria 2024…..will be in Atlanta, Georgia. Who will be attending this year?  I won’t be able to make it again this year 😔

SEPHORiA is a global annual rendezvous specially created to celebrate the world of beauty. Starting in Atlanta (Sept 27-28th), in person events will also take place in Paris (Oct 4-5th), Shanghai (Oct 24-27th), and new locations Rio de Janeiro (Nov 1-3rd) and Dubai (Nov 6-8th).

@sister13 @danielledanielle this time around, I stayed an extra day after the event, leaving mid-evening. Last year, my flight out of NYC was early afternoon (but with delays, it ended up being early evening). I haven't quite figured out what is the ideal schedule for days before and days after SEPHORiA would be. I imagine that for me the destination will be a significant factor in assessing that.

@itsfi  I thought staying until the 2nd was perfect! The decompression was needed and having the extra time to casually hang out with the BIC family and play tourist was so much better than speed packing and jumping on a plane home.  

If I ever need to take a red eye again I will give myself an extra day before the event.  I can sleep on planes but that turbulence didn’t like my plan.

@itsfi I stayed from Thursday mod morning to Monday afternoon and I thought it was a good amount of time. I had an extra day to site see and wind down. I did not feel too rushed, but I was ready to go home... except now I wish I was back 😭!

Thank you @curlychiquita! I feel as if this group of ambassadors and BIC'ers would have had a fabulous time anywhere but it was made extra special by the SEPHORiA crew! Would love for there to be a SEPHORiA to take place at a convenient date and place where other BIC'ers, including you, can attend - or be close enough that we can arrange a meet up for meal, drinks and/or a shopping trip.

I was really hoping for some stories from those who attended. Thank you so much for sharing. 😉 I feel like for those of us that didn't attend, we get to live it a little bit through your recap. Those games sound fun! How did you fare? And how awesome was it that they shared the Live's with everyone at home too see. 😃

Most of the games were such where everyone was a winner @CynthieLu. Some games involved multiple attempts. For the most part, there was a prize handed out - win, lose or draw. Of the ones where the game could best you, I lost every one of those claw machine games. Every. single. one. So, if that's ever an Olympic sport or part of a BIC Games competition, no one should pick me on their team. It would be an epic fail on your parts. 🤣 

Charlotte Tilbury set up a "strongman" carnival game - I just looked it up, it's called a high striker game - they give you an mallet and you need to strike the mallet on the plate at the bottom of a tower. Attached to the plate is a puck that when you strike the plate on which it is resting with the mallet, sends it up the tower. There's a bell at the tower. If the puck hits the bell, you win. Some say that you can let out a lot of aggression with this game. lol. Let's just say there were a couple of ambassadors who only needed one shot to hit the bell at the top of the tower. Hahaha!

The prize was this Charlotte Tilbury lip set -

I was caring so many bags, I just did the mallet/bell game single handed, and nailed it first try, you just had to concentrates on the eye hand coordination! A girl in front of me hit  the platform and crushed it in, lol! But I always loved carnival games and field day! 🩷🩷💪💪 @itsfi

I was impressed you did it with one hand @sister13. I was just happy I made contact with it; getting it on the first try (on both the two sessions I went to the booth) was a happy bonus for me.

📸Best for Photos - Maison Margiela (French cafe / patisserie) + INNBeauty (magazine cover) + YSL (the YSL heart was beautiful and the runway-esque motif was cute) + Danessa Myricks (always great to have photo with her)

⭐Best energy - Danessa Myricks + Natasha Denona

🎁Best prizes / samples - Natasha Denona + Urban Decay + LYS + Ouai + YSL + Ami Cole + Danessa Myricks Masterclass. Also Farmacy Day 1, Session 2  + YTTP Day 2, Session 4 (very beginning) - both had great full size products they were handing out. 

👜Best bags - Moroccanoil (same as last year but the bag was easier on the shoulders and spacious) + Drunk Elephant

Natasha Denona - Had a fun game and I loved the bag ☺️
