pencil sharpener problems

Anyone have any recommendations on how to sharpen the Lancome drama-liquid eyeliner? The pencil seems to be made of a weird plastic material instead of wood like the liners I've used before. Also the formula is super creamy so I'm worried it'll break.

Have you tried Grind House by Urban Decay @Calistafoo? It’s really high quality, the blades are made of steel and it hasn’t become flimsy over time. https://m.sephora.com/product/grind-house-P219007?icid2=skugrid
