Warm or Cool Tone Palettes

I’m eying the Becca and dose of colors palettes. I honestly don’t need any bug they both look nice. I’ve never used Becca shadows. I’ve watched several reviews on the Dose of Colors one and bloggers seem to like it (and the highlighter). Not sure which one to use.

@Feebee1115 I never tried Becca shadows but I do own the Dose of Colors highlighter in Fuego and the first DesixKaty eyeshadow palette that launched last year and a block party shadow.

That Bareminerals palette is very pretty but I have an idea that it will go on sale in January. We'll see!

I have new palettes that I haven't had time to play with, and that really helps me control the urge to buy more.

@gingerleigh Ulta sent out an email yesterday that was 20% off everything including prestige brands it expires 10/27/18.

I might try out some magnetic accent lashes for fun. I'm not expecting a lot, but it would be heaven if they worked well. I really honestly do not enjoy mascara (or lash glue) -- despite the fact that mascara has to be the number 1 fastest, most beauty-enhancing product ever created. But it's so messy coming off, I just prefer tubing mascaras, even though those don't do nearly as much for my lashes. Sometimes I just curl them and go.

@gingerleigh What kind of eye products are you looking for? Liners, eyeshadow, etc.

I have never tried magnetic accent lashes.  I hardly put on falsies only for a glam night out and my wedding.  Let me know what you think about them.

I know what you mean about mascara being messy.  For years I would just curl my lashes and go.  Last year I decided to put on mascara and noticed what a difference it made.  I find that regular mascaras are easier to take off then waterproof.  I use Bioderma Sensibio to take off my makeup (it's super gentle) and then makeup wipes to clean the rest off and it hasn't been bad.

Eyeliners that are matte and good for tightlining, and brushes. That is pretty much all I want right now. Soon, or next year, I want to try a lash serum. I'm not sure what the best brands are for serum because they all kind of sound the same to me. 🙂

Haven't tried Bioderma yet but have heard good things.

I'll report back on the magnetic lashes if I try them. If I don't do an order for the Beauty Break, I might get them somewhere else because when I was looking for reviews, I noticed they only cost half as much at other retailers.

@gingerleigh For eyeliners that don't smudge I love Ardency Inn.  They go on super smooth and are very pigmented.  You can find them at Beautylish and Amazon.  Sephora used to carry the brand.  The only other eyeliners I like that Ulta carries is Smashbox Always Sharp Eyeliners but I prefer Ardency Inn better.  For brushes at Ulta I love Japanesque.
