Velour Lashes - No Drama

I received the gratis box some of the other ladies received and decided to do an in-depth review of the Velour Lashes in "No Drama".

Velour Lashes Effortless - No Trim - Natural Lash Collection Mini Me

DSC00564.JPG

So here's most of my eyelash collection.  The "No Drama" Velour Lashes are the ones I marked with an X.  The ones above them are the HOL Petite Iconics.  I believe the bottom left corner is the full-sized HOL Iconic.  Don't ask me what anything else is because I have no idea.  They're mostly Velour lashes, MUFE, maybe a pair of Illamasqua, some HOL, maybe Tarte.

I wore them and they were really comfortable.  Sometimes if I wear the extra crazy ones like the Huda lashes, they will be so large they feel heavy on my eyelids or even block my vision.  I'm happy to report I was able to wear these to work, nobody noticed or asked if I was wearing falsies, and I even worked out in them.

This is me with them on at the end of the day.  Excuse the oil slick forehead.  😛

Thank you @BrendaBT and @VelourLashes

@PrettyPaint thanks!

Re: Velour Lashes - No Drama

@itscarin Super helpful seeing them next to other lashes!  Thanks so much for the review!

Re: Velour Lashes - No Drama

@missjeanie I figured seeing comparisons is what I'd want to know most!  It was also helpful for me to see what sets them apart from other lashes.  I think sometimes some lashes get cartoonishly large.  Having a shorter lash is helpful for a hooded lid like mine so that you can still see my crease.  When I sport the freakishly large lashes they may hit my eyebrows and they obstruct the view of my very petite lid which then kind of feels like: why did I bother doing eyeliner?

Re: Velour Lashes - No Drama

@itscarin @I agree. Some of the lashes on I stagram look super cute, but on me, in real life... a bit much. I don’t wear lashes often, but most of the ones I do choose tend to be on the more “natural” side. Seeing these beside other lashes really helps to see where/when they could work for me. I wish websites did this!

Re: Velour Lashes - No Drama

@missjeanie People with bigger eyes can get away with wearing bigger eyelashes.  I wish I had crazy eyes sometimes!  I like an extra dramatic lash, but because my lids are hooded and because my eyes are a little small, a lash like the Huda Beauty lashes just overwhelms me.  I wish I was one of those lucky girls who had huge eyes but I'm not.  😕
