I received the gratis box some of the other ladies received and decided to do an in-depth review of the Velour Lashes in "No Drama".
Velour Lashes Effortless - No Trim - Natural Lash Collection Mini Me
So here's most of my eyelash collection. The "No Drama" Velour Lashes are the ones I marked with an X. The ones above them are the HOL Petite Iconics. I believe the bottom left corner is the full-sized HOL Iconic. Don't ask me what anything else is because I have no idea. They're mostly Velour lashes, MUFE, maybe a pair of Illamasqua, some HOL, maybe Tarte.
I wore them and they were really comfortable. Sometimes if I wear the extra crazy ones like the Huda lashes, they will be so large they feel heavy on my eyelids or even block my vision. I'm happy to report I was able to wear these to work, nobody noticed or asked if I was wearing falsies, and I even worked out in them.
This is me with them on at the end of the day. Excuse the oil slick forehead. 😛
Thank you @BrendaBT and @VelourLashes
OMG this is a lash lovers DREAM 😮 Congrats on getting this amazing gratis @itscarin
The only Velour lashes I've tried so far are the no trim ones that they put in the Sephoria swag bags. They were the perfect length, had a good band and have successfully been reused multiple times. I'm sure these were just as impressive! Have fun trying them all 🙂
@itscarin the lashes look so good on you. Love your HOL lash storage case.
@SportyGirly125 Thanks! It's fun to keep all the eyelashes in one place but then it sucks because I don't remember which ones are which. #firstworldproblems LOL
@itscarin I love the comparison photo, thank you 🙂 The lashes look amazing on you, and very natural! On my E. Asian eyes, they look so extra ha ha. I thought they might be stiff because of the band but found them pretty flexible.
@pocketvenus thanks! The funny thing about perception is it's so relative. I have a friend with huge eyes and she'd probably say these lashes were extra on her. It just depends on what you're comfortable with or how a product makes you feel.
@itscarinthat's true. By extra I just meant "so obviously wearing fake lashes" and nothing wrong with that at all! It's my personal experience but I do find Asian brands or sparser strips will give my smaller eyes a more natural look 🙂 The Velour strips basically went right from inner corner where my hooded lid folds over to a liiiittle bit off the end corner of the eye on me, sort of like when I buy pants that are supposed to fit above the ankle but they come down to my heels 😛
@itscarin They look fantastic on you! Thanks so much for the in-depth review. I haven't tried mine yet, but you've given me great hope that they'll be easy to apply and comfortable to wear.
@tastelikewater They were definitely easy to apply and easy to wear. It was more of a volume boost than a length boost. You should definitely bust them open soon!
@itscarin Congrats, and thanks for the review and pic - so pretty!
@faeriegirl I was definitely most excited about receiving these!
Thanks for the review @itscarin . They look great on you!
