Urban Decay Full Spectrum

I am totally loving  theFull Spectrum Urban Decay eyeshadow palette. This has minimal fallout to none and the colors just blew me away! This was one i caught on sale for $24.99 instead of the normal $50 odd dollars. I would purchase this one all over again.

I’m sincerely glad you got this palette to work for you. Did you use some kind of base (lid primer, concealer, white eye shadow, etc.) with these shadows? Did they blend easily for you? 

I ask because I’ve had this palette for months and only used it 3 times. This palette is my nemesis. I wanted soooo badly to love it—I mean look at all the pretty bold colors! Alas, Full Spectrum and I do not get along. On my medium-deep skin tone, most of these shadows aren’t pigmented enough. Of the shades that kinda showed up on my lids and crease, none really blended well. Some blended away into a muddy dusty mess. And to me, the texture of many of these shadows is too chalky. I tried these shadows on bare lids and primed lids (I even used Urban Decay’s primer). I tried a third time with concealer on one lid and concealer + white eye shadow on the other lid. That third time made me bury Full Spectrum in the bottom of a drawer, so I can’t see it every day and rage about it. 

Urban Decay shadows are generally hit or miss for me. But I had high hopes for Full Spectrum. Maybe I just got a bad palette, I dunno... I’m just glad I didn’t pay full price for mine. I’m also glad your palette seems to perform much better! I might dig mine out and give it a 4th chance using the lightest shade of ColourPop’s No Filter concealer. We’ll see.
