Re: Newbie needs help

@mommylee10 -- aw, really pretty and definitely more bold! It suits your coloring so well too.

Re: Newbie needs help

Pretty palette! I'd use the big tan shade from lightly from crease to browbone, and pop a finger gently into the yellow and add it to the highest spot of your browbone.

Deepen crease with the medium brown matte, not much, just a little blended into the other shade in the center of your crease. Put the pale butter yellow evenly all over your lid. Then use one of the spicy reds as liner along upper lashline, (dampen a thin flat brush edge or liner brush before dipping into the liner shade) and finish by blending a tiny bit of the tan underneath the outer third for your under liner, used dry, and thinning the line as you go in-- the pale lid is the foil for the red liner, and also makes eyes look huge, you don't want the under liner to compete. You could skip it altogether.

I'd def play around with the palette a bit before the event to get comfy with the look you create.

Tell us what you do in the end @mommylee10 !

Re: Newbie needs help

Kudos on leaving your comfort zone, too @mommylee10 . Great look! How did you like the way the palette worked for you? I've been eyeing the Lilac& Chamomile palettes myself.

Re: Newbie needs help

@mommylee10 @You could do a halo eye where you apply the dark shades on the inner and outer corner of the eyes and use the bronze shade in the middle. You could also do a gradient eye where the inner half of the eye is the bronze shade and the outer eye is the reddish shades. Or you could do the bronze shade all over the eye and use the brown or dark red shade as eyeliner.
