@funkymonkey1  My eyes are fairly sensitive and I almost never wear mascara on my lower lashes. So my faves all work well on my top lashes and don’t irritate my eyes. 

My lashes but better: 

• ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara After Midnight 
• Esum The Mascara 
• Perricone MD No Makeup Mascara 

Boosted but not full drama (but can be built up to a more dramatic look): 

• Lisa Eldridge Kitten Lash - amazingly lightweight formula for the results it gives me. 
• DIOR Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara 090 Black - this formula’s drier and thicker than most others, but it gets the job done. 

Dramatic: 

• PAT McGRATH LABS Dark Star Volumizing Mascara 0.43 fl oz / 13 mL 
• #Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume 2 Mascara Black Vinyl Vol 2 
• HUDA BEAUTY 1 Coat WOW! Extra Volumizing and Lifting Mascara Very Vanta 

Colorful: 

• Pat McGrath Dark Star Colour Blitz - for the last 2 years, Pat’s released Dark Star in a trio of vibrant shades. If you can find 2023’s green shade (Electric Jade) or 2022’s blue (Ultra Violet Blue), I highly recommend those. 2022’s Pink Mystique shade’s a fun one. 
• Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl shade Blue 

I have some Addiction Tokyo colorful mascaras but haven’t tested them yet. And one of my favorite dramatic electric blue mascaras (UOMA Salute to the Sun Drama Bomb) isn’t available unless you find it at a secondhand retailer—in which case, try to ensure that mascara’s unopened/brand new so you don’t end up with someone’s cootied up used mascara. (Mascara’s a product I never buy from places like eBay and Poshmark; I don’t trust resellers enough for that. 😅) 

Oh, and when I use a few other mascaras, I start with a lash primer. My favorite primer is Lancôme Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Primer .18 oz / 5.5 ml.

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara Black this one is so good at lengthening and it stays on for a long time 

Too Faced Better Than Sex Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara this one makes my lashes so long and it is so pretty it’s like wearing a set of lashes without wearing one 

MERIT Clean Lash Lengthening Tubing Mascara love the lengthening feature and how it shows up

Lately, I've been using the tarte tartelette™ lengthening & tubing mascara Black and really enjoying it. I always have an issue with my lashes not separating and they seem to separate pretty well with that one. Also the Elf Lash Xtndr is a decent drugstore option.

@funkymonkey1 I'm a big fan of the Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara .  It's comes in a few colors (if you like options), gives my lashes a lot of volume, and doesn't budge.
