Long-Lasting Eyeshadow

Hey girls!! ❤️ 

I was having trouble making my eyes stay longer on my lids! The folds of my lids make my eyeshadow go away in a few hours. Any suggestions on reducing this problem?

Hi @Shobss,

I suggest using a primer like the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Original and for longer lasting eyeshadow I will layer the LAURA MERCIER - Caviar Stick Eye Shadow on top of the primer and then put the eyeshadow on top of that! 

This keeps my shadow in place all day.

Hi @Shobss,

I recommend trying the Benefit Cosmetics Stay Don’t Stray 360 Degree Stay Put Eyeshadow Primer Light/ Medium and set with  Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Longwear Setting Powder Translucent before applying your shadow. This will helps mattify any moisture so your shadow does not crease. Hope this helps!

@Shobss i use MAC Prep and Prime 24 hour eye base and it helps my eyeshadows stay on longer.

Have you tried using an eye primer?  It helps with setting the color and longer lasting wear.  I currently use Too Faced Eye Shadow Insurance.  There are good reviews on her for Urban Decay's eye primer.  MAC also makes good eye primers.  Hope that helps.

 I 2nd the Too Faced eyeshadow insurance primer.

 I also know there are shadows that last & some that don’t even with primer?  If you would like some feedback on Eyeshadow’s that last, Could you give us an idea what colors you are looking for, also the approximate $ amount of your budget could be helpful.
