How do you stop makeup run under your eyes

My eyes are watery once in a while and if I just use a little bit of eyeshadow as eyeliner it looks like this. Any recommendations? Sorry that picture looks creepy 😅

I wear contacts so my eyes are always watery so wearing eyeliner was hard and this same thing would happen to me until I found NYX waterproof eyeliner and I haven’t had that problem.

So I am of Italian descent, and in the summer my skin gets oily, oil gets in my eyes, and the watering starts. I also live in Vancouver, so hello humidity. I have this down to a system. First thing is sunscreen. After that I start with my face, a primer, Smashbox foundation, and Nars concealer (Nars isn't my holy grail, but I haven't found better yet). after that I do a slight contour and pack powder under my eyes, on my forehead, and on my nose. This keeps my foundation from running into my eyes. I then use a primer on my lids. I find that Too Faced Glitter Glue works well, but I love glitter. I then set it with powder or a light eyeshadow. My go to palette is Soft Glam by Anastasia Beverly Hills, it lasts all day fairly easily. If I want some extra glitter I use the Nyx liquid glitters and they work beautifully and do not budge on hooded oily lids. I then use my favourite eyeliner, the Fenty Beauty Flyliner. It stays all day no matter what I do to it. I have worked out and it has stayed. My only qualm is the cap on mine no longer fully seals and causes the brush to dry a tiny bit, but it still makes a sharp line and if shaken isn't too bad. I then use the L'Oreal Lash Paradise mascara. This one stays put without flaking or smudging, while Better than Sex was all over my face in two hours. I then do my brows, which I am blessed with full brows and just go over it with brown eyeshadow. Then I take my big fluffy brush (not sure what it is called, but it makes me feel like a princess), brush the powder off my face, and apply blush. I am then done and it typically lasts all day without moving when my eyes water or getting in my eyes.

Hi @NadiaDoreen Do you use any setting powder under your eyes? Adding some powder might help. Also an eyeshadow base like the  NARS Pro-Prime™ Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base Original might help keep the eyeshadow in place. Do you know if your eyeliner is waterproof? If not, maybe one like the  stila Stay All Day® Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner - Micro Tip Intense Black might be good to try.
