How do you get good winged liner

I canโ€™t ever get my winged liner right, can you help me

RE: How do you get good winged liner

First off use a pencil, not a liquid. Pencil is much easier to use at first and correct any mistakes. I like Tarteโ€™s retractable pencils, they are really black and smooth which I love. To create a nice wing I usually take my pencil and first draw a thin line along the upper lash line, then I go back and gradually make it thicker at the ends of the eye by just a little bit. Then I look at where my eyelid naturally has a crease at the end, and take my pencil and angle it up to draw a small triangle/wing in the corner of my eye, extending it as far as I want for my look, and then fill it in with black eyeshadow, letting the wing naturally fade into my eyeshadow look for the day. Sometimes Iโ€™ll do a double wing with liquid eyeliner after like I did below, but that takes a lot more practice. Hereโ€™s a picture of how it ends up looking:

@MeowAva Using scotch tape helps and also drawing little dots along the lash line and connecting them. If you mess up put some makeup remover on a q tip and clean the line
