Favorite Mascaras and why!?

My all time favorite mascara is Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir.  I love it because it gives me the MOST volume of anything I've tried, and it builds super quickly.  I find with other mascaras I have to work for it--- Velvet Noir is fast and has major impact.  It's also one of the blackest mascaras I think.

What are some of your favorite mascaras??

I too like the Marc Jacobs, but my go to mascara is the Dior show waterproof. It lasts all day with no flaking and my lashes looks natural. I just received a sample of the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara and I will see how it does.

The naked pallets are always a good start. Easy to blend, lots of looks.

My two favorite mascaras are the better than sex and perversion by urban decay. i have owned the regular better than sex and i currently have the waterproof one. They both give me tons of volume creating the effect of fake lashes. I already have long thick curly eyelashes so if you are someone like me then you can get away with just mascara with eyeshadow looks. The better than sex is very buildable so using a heavy hand will give you instant clumps. Perversion is very light on my eyelashes and it doesn’t tend to clump at all so it feels light.

I have two: the Sephora Lash Craft volume & length in the black and white tube is a great formula that def lives to the claims and doesn't flake or transfers. You do have to build it but it will give fluttery lashes. But my most fav is the Urban Decay Troublemaker. I've been using it non stop since I got it. Now this one works well for me because I already have long lashes, I just like to thicken then up a bit more. I absolutely love that mascara. I just posted a pic today of me wearing it so you can see how it looks (no falsies).

I've tried many a mascara and there is only ONE I will spend money on... Tarte's Lights Camera Lashes! While wearing, it makes my lashes long, full of volume, and super dark black. That's not even the best part! I swear, it must condition lashes because I've noticed that my natural lashes are longer and fuller since I started using Lights Camera Lashes! It's my Holy Grail mascara!

For day to day I use Grande Lash Mascara with the primer.  it gives some volume but definitely more length.  It doesn't flake or smudge.  For more drama, I love UD's perversion mascara paired with the primer.  Tons of volume and length but for me it smudges/flakes a little.. super pigmented.. love it!

I am currently addicted to Lancôme Monsieur Big, Tarte LCL & Gifted. They are all pretty good at lengthening and fairly decent at adding volume. I don't know if I could pick one favorite right now.

Love love love the Buxom waterproof mascara. I have really dry eyes and they water a lot, so I can only use waterproof. I also prefer volume to length, and this gives me voluminous, BLACK lashes.

I love Urban Decay's Perversion mascara. It just always looks good, I don't have problems with it really, it doesn't clump up on me. I recently thought, hmm I've had this a while, I should get a new mascara, and just bought something cheap from the drug store. It's not as nice and I am not really using it, still using the older perverse that I still should probably toss! I dunno, maybe I should give this drug store brand another try, make sure I am using a light hand with it. I think I still won't like it that much though!

So typical but better than sex is my favorite. If you apply it with a light hand and build it up slowly it won't turn out clumpy (most people tend to say it's clumpy) it gives me crazy volume but it is more of a dramatic effect not really an every day natural look

I love the benefit roller lash mascara for lengthening and separating my lashes. I tend to get less transfer on my kids with this one. I also love the Marc Jacobs mascara for giving nice volume. One coat gives nice fluttery lashes and add more coats for a bolder effect.

The L'Oreal Lash Paradise has been my favorite so far. It lengthens and thickens my lashes for half the price of high end mascara. It's one of the few mascaras I have found to not be clumpy yet provides beautiful volume for my short almost nonexistent lashes. I have so far been loving the Better than Sex mascara as well.

Givenchy Phenomem'eyes. Don't judge me! I know it's expensive, but the way it makes my lashes look is AMAZING. I keep trying less expensive brands and keep going back to this. It doesn't clump, flake, smear. The second I but it on my lashes it's like, BAM.

I live by the Sephora 'all in one' and 2 faced 'better than sex'. I did learn a trick that's made a HUGE difference. I put the tube in my bra as I'm doing the rest of my makeup to warm up the mascara, and it always goes on smoother than ifI put it on straight out of the bag.

I really like Bobbi Brown, Eye Opening Mascara. It was included in the July Play box. Easy on and very easy off.
