Eye makeup + shaky hands = ???

Because of some meds I’m on, my hands shake really badly. Is there a recommended way of doing eye liner even when your hands shake and you can’t draw a straight line?

Re: Eye makeup + shaky hands = ???

Try using a hair tie or rubber band around your fingers to create a steady grip on the brush/liner.  I saw this technique used for someone with shaking hands trying to paint miniatures.  You put the band around your wrist, pull it out, twist it once then put it around your pinky/ring/middle fingers. It pulls your hand into a closed position and steadies it for holding a brush.  Also try keeping your pinky touching/balanced against your face to steady it when applying eyeliner.  Hope that helps!

@Anonymous I rec leaning against a full length mirror with your dominant arm/elbow to give your arm more stability.  I started off doing eyeliner that way and it worked for me.  Good luck!  🙂

I know that if you want to do a winged eyeliner look there is that brand call vamp stamp, they have a tiny stamp for a wing eyeliner! 🙂

(Sorry this is so late! Let’s just say that working as a Front Desk Agent when you’re short staffed and down two managers makes life hell.) I’ve heard of that... but I’m always a little skeptical when it comes to something that’s supposed to be that easy. Plus, I really have trouble just making a straight line at all.
