Advice for smudging eyeliner???

Hi I'm new to community. I've been an insider for a while but rarely wear makeup. When I do, I find that my eyeliner smudges spreading underneath my eye. I use Kat von D tattoo eyeliner and morphe setting spray so not sure why??? Unless I'm not using the setting spray properly 🤔 hmmm? Help please.

@Francinemarie @Have you tried using an eye primer under your eyes?  I found that helps.

I highly recommend stila Stay All Day® Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner Intense Black.  It's my holy grail eyeliner and it never smudges!

Smudging happens a lot to people with oily skin or Asian eyes.  You can set your eyelids with a translucent powder like Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Longwear Setting Powder Translucent.  Take a fluffy eyeshadow brush and dust a bit on before applying eyeliner.  You can also set the bottom part of your eye (where the eyeliner smudges) by doing the same thing.

Wait until the eyeliner is completely dry before using setting spray.

Smudging used to happen a lot when I first started out but doesn't happen anymore.  Not sure if it's my skin or if I've gotten better at it.  Some eye shapes are more prone to smudging, like my sister's monolids.
