Adding these three here for anyone having a tough time with really itchy, irritated, or red skin. The three together can be used as a recovery-focused routine.

Tower 28 Beauty Mini SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray with Hypochlorous Acid 1 oz/ 30 mL

Tower 28 Beauty SOS Intensive Redness Relief Serum with Hypochlorous Acid 2 oz / 59 mL

Tower 28 Beauty SOS Daily Skin Barrier Redness Recovery Moisturizer 1.86 oz / 55 ml

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

I'm trying this brand out for the first time @JoSometimes

My skin is doing pretty well with skinfix but I was very curious and there was a gwp with Tower 28 Beauty SOS Daily Skin Barrier Redness Recovery Moisturizer 1.86 oz / 55 ml .

(I'm hoping they come out with a gift set soon so I can test out the line and I hope to see a face wash as well โœจ๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜‰)

You have good results from the 3?

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

@CynthieLu Yes! I like the spray for REALLY bad flare-ups where just touching my own skin would continue to set it off. The serum is also effective and good for continued relief after the spray. I havenโ€™t tried to moisturizer solo on top of irritated skin yet. Itโ€™s ingredients list seems to lend itself towards being a no nonsense kind of moisturizer that wonโ€™t add to the problem. I like that it has ceramides and I find myself using less overall compared to #SEPHORA COLLECTION All Day Hyaluronic Acid Hydrator Moisturizer 1.69 oz/ 50 mL.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Tower 28 direct has a set with all three products @JoSometimes @CynthieLu . Today only you get an additional 28% off the set. Iโ€™m not sure if they ship to Canada. I purchased mine last week and I received 4X points.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Thanks for the heads up about the sale @Loretta55! Gotta see if shipping is worth the savings.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Hope youโ€™re able to take advantage of the sale @JoSometimes.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

@Loretta55 I just checked. Sadly not worth it for us Canadians, even with the sale. Once I factor in duties and taxes, itโ€™s more expensive.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Sorry to hear about that @JoSometimes

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Ooooh thanks for that @Loretta55, I'm going to check out the site now! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ™

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

When my skin is red,  it loves ceramides the most @JoSometimes that, along with no fussy ingredients, I can see being very helpful during a flare up.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Iโ€™m currently suffering with some eczema on the sides of my chin. I just ordered Skinfix Eczema+ Dermatitis Face Balm 0.48 oz/ 13.5 mL . Has anyone tried this? I canโ€™t get an appointment with my dermatologist so Iโ€™m hoping this will help. BTW I ordered all three products from Tower 28 to use in conjunction with the Skinfix balm.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

I haven't tried that balm @Loretta55

Good luck with your appointment. ๐Ÿ’™

Let us know how everything heals up and if you have any luck with any products your trying.

Wishing you a speedy healing process. ๐Ÿ™

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

The itchiness has subsided @CynthieLu. Now I am hoping for the redness to subside. The balm is working.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

That's good news @Loretta55 ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Thank you very much @CynthieLu.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

@Loretta55 I have everything you ordered! The skinfix balm is good for calming the skin. Itโ€™s thick, almost like Vaseline or aquaphor, so itโ€™ll work best as the last layer before SPF. You donโ€™t need a lot either. A pinky-nail sized spot is enough for my face. Together with the tower 28 sos line, my face feels great!

If itโ€™s still bothering you, you can try any allergy medicine that doesnโ€™t make you drowsy.

Also, if itโ€™s on your face, I would suggest checking things that you are lying down on. My most recent flare-up was across my entire body and it was due to what I washed my clothes in. I switched detergents recently. After switching back, my flare up went away. I hope you find relief soon!

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Thank you very much for your detailed description @JoSometimes. I have not changed my laundry detergent so I donโ€™t think that is the cause of my problem. I have eczema on the sides of my chin and on the fold of my chin. I used the Skinfixx balm prior to the SOS moisturizer but I havenโ€™t been as itchy so I hope that I am on the right path. If it doesnโ€™t subside by the end of the month I will need prescription medication.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

@Loretta55 Iโ€™m glad the itch has subsided! I hope you donโ€™t get stuck in eczema limbo where itโ€™s not getting worse but also not getting better. ๐Ÿคž

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Fingers are crossed ๐Ÿคž @JoSometimes.

Re: What works? ๐Ÿ’œ Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis and Redness Support

Here are a few general recommendations that may help with these skin conditions:

  1. Eczema:

    • Keep your skin moisturized using gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers.
    • Avoid triggers such as harsh soaps, hot water, and irritating fabrics.
    • Identify and avoid any allergens or irritants that may worsen your eczema.
    • Use topical corticosteroids or other prescribed medications as directed by your dermatologist.
    • Consider wet wrap therapy, where damp clothing or bandages are applied over moisturizers or medicated creams to help hydrate the skin.
  2. Rosacea:

    • Protect your skin from the sun by using sunscreen and wearing a wide-brimmed hat.
    • Use gentle, non-irritating skincare products.
    • Identify and avoid triggers like spicy foods, alcohol, hot beverages, and extreme temperatures.
    • Consider using topical medications prescribed by a dermatologist, such as metronidazole or azelaic acid.
    • Laser therapy or other medical procedures may be recommended for severe cases.
  3. Psoriasis:

    • Keep your skin moisturized using emollients or moisturizers.
    • Avoid triggers like stress, smoking, alcohol, and certain medications.
    • Use topical treatments prescribed by your doctor, such as corticosteroids, vitamin D analogs, or retinoids.
    • Phototherapy (light therapy) or systemic medications may be recommended for moderate to severe psoriasis.
    • Practice stress management techniques as stress can worsen symptoms.

Remember, it's essential to consult with a dermatologist or healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and personalized treatment plan for your specific condition. They can provide you with tailored advice based on your needs. Sharing personal experiences and what has worked for you can indeed be helpful, but it's important to keep in mind that what works for one person may not work for everyone.
