Retinol + hydration

I recently started incorporating retinol into my routine every other night. Dr Dennis Gross ferulic + retinol wrinkle serum and Dr Dennis Gross retinol overnight moisturizer. I want to start including a hydrating serum to combat the dryness. I already use a toner and moisturizer with Hyaluronic acid but I feel it’s not enough. I’ve been eying the following products: - DRUNK ELEPHANT B-Hydra serum - La Mer Treatment Lotion - Dr Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine - Skinceuticals Hydrating B5 gel (not on Sephora) - COSRX advanced snail mucin (not on Sephora) Can anyone weigh in on any of the above products? Pros/cons? Thank you!

Re: Retinol + hydration

I've used the COSRX w/Snail Mucin and Drunk Elephant B-Hydra. I really liked the B-Hydra over my retinol (only on forehead, couldn't speak to other parts of the face).

In terms of COSRX, I ended up switching to Mizon Water Volume Essence BEFORE my retinol, just for the light moisture support before retinol instead of after. I haven't found most of my COSRX products to really do much for my skin (dry).

RE: Retinol + hydration

I haven’t personalized used the products you are asking about. In my skincare routine, (similar to yours) I use an oil to finish everything off which has been working great for me. The oil I am obsessing over is “herbavoire cannabis oil”
