"Unable to place your order" Prepaid American Express gift card

Hello,

When trying to pay for an order this message keeps popping up "Unable to place your order. Please verify that your card information and billing address are correct. If applicable, we have reversed any pending charges to your account." All the information is correct and I have enough money on the card. Assistance is appreciated

I am having the same issue with a never used before Amex gift card and I checked the balance and it has $50 but I’m not being able to place my Sephora order for $46 using it. Kindly help me out with this as I’m trying to buy birthday gifts for my friend!

@catherineroquim It looks like the financial institution isn't allowing the charge to go through. I recommend calling the number on the back of the card for more information. If you're still having trouble, I suggest using a different form of payment. Thanks!
