invalid gift card

so i received a $100 Sephora gift card for Christmas and this past saturday i spent $86 and the employee at the store said i only have $13 left so today i tried several times to order a sephora face mask which costs $6 plus the shipping makes it $12 and whenever i tried to click apply a phrase would come up in red saying the card number was invalid. could anyone help me please ive been doing this for an hour straight and i still dont know what the problem is.
