Zero balance on my gift card

My husband got me a gift card of $100 dollars

purchased at Albertsons on Mother’s Day. I called the number on the back of the card to check my balance and it said $100 dollars, I then went to Sephora a month later to use it and it said $0.00 dollars. I was so confused because I knew I hadn’t used this gift card. I called customer service and they said there’s a zero balance, so I asked for the transaction history and they said it was used on March 17 online for $100 exact. I checked my order history to confirm but I knew that I did not use it. Sure enough no order that I personally made for that day. 

sephora did nothing about it and said sorry they couldn’t even tell me more details on that “100 dollar transaction”. They said sorry you have to go through Albertsons! I’m so frustrated because that’s $100 thrown away from my husband’s money. I can’t believe this! Ridiculous Sephora do better then not giving a dam.
