Where is my mom’s day gift?

I placed an order with spare time for Mother’s Day and it said it would arrive on the 6th. It is 7th now, the Sephora site for tracking shows no info whatsoever anymore and USPS still shows as waiting for Sephora to hand them the package. I tried asking last night but the reply was to “check back on it” and that was about it. Do I need to call to ask what is going on? I need the order to arrive or else there’s no Mother’s Day gift. It is completely disrespectful to not notify clients on any delays or issues when shipping an order. I have to ask myself or else who knows what will happen with my order. Inadmissible behaviour from Sephora.
