VIB Rouge Q

If I spend $1000+ while I am already at VIB Rouge status will I still be demoted to VIB at the end of the year? If I am maintaining a steady VIB Rouge qualification amount I feel I shouldn't be bumped back down since I am still spending quite actively and making me miss out on VIB Rouge perks simply because of the year ended despite a large amount spent would really not be fair.

Rouge status lasts the year you qualify plus the following year. For example, if you qualify for Rouge in 2017, you will have Rouge status from 2017 to December 31, 2018. If you surpass the 1K in 2017, it will just be considered as points. However, if you spend 1K anytime in 2018, you will requalify for Rouge until December 31, 2019. If you do not spend 1K but at least $350 in 2018, you will have VIB status in 2019. Hope this helps @Anonymous
