Hello, I have the same complaint. What is the point of being a rouge member and spending so much money per year if we cannot shop the VIB sale? As of right now, VIBs and VIB Rouge are being given the same opportunity, just during different time periods. Rouge should either be given a higher % discount, limited to our own weekend, or we should be able to use the 20% discount when VIBs are. Otherwise, there is no point in spending all of this money? Extremely disappointing.
Hi. I'm super disappointed. I am VIB Rouge and can't use my 20% off. I have $220 in my cart right now, but can't use my code. Does it not work for this weekend also??? Please let us know if we can still get 20% off.
Seriously, why are none of the codes working for VIB ROUGE status holders? This is so lame... Feeling like it benefits the customer more to shop at Nordstrom, Saks, ulta, or literally anywhere else with the really awful setup Sephora has these past few years. Spent money last weekend and wasn't even offered 20% off in store. This just seems so weird.
This is so frustrating. I feel like Sephora should offer a refund or a gift card or something for VIB ROUGE holders that were not offered a discount in-store or unable to use the codes online and have spent money in the past few weekends at sephora. That seems fair, I mean, it's not like we spend $1000s of dollars every year with them.
I feel like I am slowly falling out of love with sephora, such a bummer for a makeup addict.

I'm puzzled by this new rule. I'm Rouge, have been for years and I've never experienced this limitation before. In fact, I was able to use the 20% discount just this Friday at a store. Why not online? I have several items in my shopping cart I'd like to use the discount for. Can you help?

Hey, I just got the rouge status a day ago, too. So that means I can’t use the vibbonus code either. But I just found in my email another code for 20% off that Sephora sent to me when they emailed me the congratulations letter on the rouge status. They do understand our problem. So check your email! Hopefully they sent you, too. The only thing is that it’s just for one-time use
Lucky you. I checked my email but no welcome Rouge email. I guess they don't value Rouge members as much as I thought
what is wrong with their new policy???? i just rather be an VIB member instead of ROUGE....what Sephora is actually telling ROUGE: ROUGE MEMBERs should NOT spend TO MUCH MONEY otherwise youll lose all the benefits to shop for the Black Friday deals.

Same situation for me. I just found out this past weekend that the items I want came back in stock. Was super excited. Only to find out that i cannot use the promo code because I'm VIB ROUGE and not VIB. This year Sephora was fell short running the promo this way. ROUGE members should never be excluded from promos offered only to VIB or Insider

I am in the same situation! I was VIB on Friday and was able to use the VIB 20% discount. However, because of the purchases I made, I am now Rouge. I wanted to make additional purchases last night but was unable to receive 20% off. This is not ok! Is there anything that can be done? I still have a few items in my cart.
I just want to echo that you should consider a change in policy. I also became Rouge after I'd already received my 20% off card, and missed the sale weekend, so I now can't take advantage of the discount at all. With holiday shopping, I'd imagine lots of people become Rouge this time of year, so leaving those folks in the ditch is less than ideal. For me, I'll put off buying what's in my cart until the 15/20/25 deal comes out in December, whereas I'd probably have shopped both promotions otherwise.
I seriously just bought a whole bunch of things during VIB sale that pushes me to become a Rogue. Now I see more things I want, I am not able to use my code. Who thought of this stupid idea? It’s basically punishing to purchase more during sales weekend.
I end up buying things from the brands official site. Honestly, so many official sites start to offer 20% off around Nov 11th. If Sephora doesn’t change this idiotic policy soon, they’re going to lose some really loyal customers. I’m so very disappointed in this nonsense.
Just found this thread and am so frustrated about being in the same boat!! If Rouge is supposed to be the top tier, why shouldn’t we be aloud to shop both weekends??? I was out of the country for work during the rouge weekend and am so sad I won’t be able to take advantage of this supposed “perk” - this definitely makes me rethink going out of my way to buy at Sephora when I could easily go elsewhere.
