VIB Qualification

I qualified for VIB Dec. 30th 2016. I never got any welcome kit with my order or at the store. I just got an email yesterday January 20th 2018 with a code for 10% off and a code for free shipping. It expires 30 days after my qualification which would be January 29th. I have 9 days to use these which is wrong because these codes would of been helpful if I got them earlier since I have made other purchases in the time between when I qualified and when I received the email. I am disappointed these emails are not sent earlier. Why was I given such a short time to use my codes ?? Has this happened to anyone else ??
