Unsuccessful Authorization

First order was placed 2 weeks ago and was wondering why there was such a delay. I finally had to check my account and the status was "unsuccessful authorization". Tried to place an order today and same status.  Tried Paypal and credit card with same result.  This is my first time having an ordering issue with an ecommerce site.
