Unsuccesful authorization order

So I placed two orders from Sephora, both of them got cancelled with an "unsuccessful authorization" message. I've been buying from Sephora for a few years now. This is so frustrating.

Did you place more than 3 orders in a 24 hour period? Or did you order multiples of the same item? Those two factors have led to my orders being cancelled this way before, despite being a regular customer with no other issues.
