The worst experience ever.

I apply for the Sephora card while I'm on my lunch break since I had to go somewhere after work and I needed setting powder, I get approved. I can't use the temporary card that was assigned for an online order to pick up in store. 2 different reps told me that I needed to go in person to make my purchases, 2 blatantly disconnected without answering my questions. The supervisor for text support wasn't helpful. The next day,  I went in person to the store on Joraelemon street in Brooklyn, New York. Used my app shopping cart to find the exact items I wanted. I get to the register and the woman at the register refused to look up my account with my social security number and PASSPORT. She said a passport was not valid identification, and that I needed a driver's license. Made me wait there, while they tried to figure it out. I kept telling them to use my ssn she ignored me, shook her head no and told me to wait for the card to come in the mail. I was told that u can make up to 4 purchases with the temp card. So you ran my credit with the promise of 25% off and the usage of a temp card just to be turned away after wasting an hour of my time(not including travel & train fare)? That is unbelievable. Even the Sephora phone rep verified that a passport is government issued identification and they were wrong to turn me away. The comenity bank rep said the same thing. What are you going to do Sephora? I plan on speaking to a lawyer, because that whole interaction didn't feel right in store.
