Terrible Rewards!

The Rewards on Sephora for loyal customers are absolutely terrible. I have a few thousand points and there is never anything worth cashing them in for.  Why shop here if I can get cash for my points on Ulta? Meanwhile, Nordstroms offers 3 great samples opposed to the 2 here which are never the ones you actually choose. Time for Sephora to up their game or I'll just shop at stores that actually value their customers.

Could not agree more.  Rewards used to be just that.... rewards.  I looked forward to seeing what I could choose from.  Now my points just pile up because I NEVER see anything I want.  That is saying a lot since they're free.

Absolutely!  I have a few thousand points racked up too.  There's absolutely nothing good to redeem them on!  It's honestly such a sham!  Unless it's a Sephora exclusive, I tend to shop more at Ulta these days.

I didn’t shop at Sephora for years because their in store employees insulted my appearance for no reason and I found out when they signed me up for a beauty insider or whatever account and when I went to log in at home my name said something derogatory that is in no way related to the name I gave. I recently began shopping online here again even though I will always be hurt by that incident and I have never once gotten the samples I requested. I was supposed to get two samples and a mini pretty vulgar mascara with my last order and my samples were completely missing and the mascara was OPEN. I don’t know why the absolute worst humans work for Sephora but I suspect they just take the samples. The items in my Play! Box never match what they are supposed to be, either. Pretty done with this company at this point. The rewards system is a joke anyway, I am just going to start ordering directly from the websites of companies I can’t find at Ulta instead of using Sephora. I see these kinds of complaints constantly, you’d think at some point this company would try to right itself but it just keeps sinking, from what I hear.

Agreed! As well as cutting back the number of samples from 3 to 2. I find that I get better rewards/samples by ordering straight from a particular brand's site if there's only one thing I need at the moment. I don't see any need in ordering online from Sephora without good rewards or samples. I'd just rather go in a Sephora. I have bought several things I ended up liking from a sample or reward. I believe this will hurt Sephora in the long run.

Ever notice that you never get the samples you request either? I don’t get it. I’m allergic to perfume and sure enough, they always send that despite me requesting totally different samples.

Yes. It's possible they run out of certain ones, but I have not received any at all a couple of times. And missing the promo code item as well.

Hi, 

Please let the decision-makers at Sephora know that they really need to up their game with the rewards program since so many retailers are upping their game. I've got over 10,000 points and I can never find anything in the bazaar that I want.

 

The fact that the half-decent "rewards" are there for the 300-500 points tier but ALWAYS "Sold out" is an insult to us loyal customers. It's like Sephora just puts a product there but only gives out few units of the slightly nicer rewards as a showcase product or to say that they do offer them, but realistically speaking they are never truly obtainable by the members. Please ask Sephora to improve this.

Thanks so much. I miss the old Sephora, and would definitely purchase more from you guys if rewards/samples were better. I only have a JC Penney Sephora to shop at, and I'd rather shop online due to a larger selection.
