Stolen package

My Sephora package got delivered yesterday and I couldn't find it anywhere in the mail room. I live in an apartment building and the mail room is not very secure. I am really upset cause it is all the things I got during the VIB rouge sale. I spent a lot of money and it got stolen. Please help! One more thing, I don't understand why Sephora package has Sephora logo on it. Anyone who is familiar with makeup/skincare would know that things from Sephora are pricey and I think making the packages that recognizable can be a reason why Sephora packages always get stolen. I have never got any of my other packages stolen before.  I am really frustrated right now.

I’m sorry it happened to you. I once had my shoe order stolen. The company refunded my money. Same happened to two of my order from various clothing brands and UPS/USPS lost it. But in these cases they had no choice but to refund as my buildings had reception and security 24/7. You should try ordering to your work/office address or maybe your friend’s address (if you friend has a concierge). That being said many brands ship in the boxes with their brand on it (see Amazon). It’s a marketing strategy. Sephora cannot be held responsible for the living conditions of some if its customers. That is why if you happen to live in a building without reception/concierge/etc., try to use a more suitable address. I used to order to my fiends office address at one time because I did not trust my building.

True. I understand that it is a marketing strategy. Just saying that they can consider that to not put the logo on top since Sephora is carrying brands like la mer and other very expensive brands and it is not that easy to claim refund from them as skincare/makeup from those brands cost at least $100+ . I remembered why Kylie cosmetics first came out, they have the Kylie cosmetics logo on the package. Anyway, it is very easily recognizable. A lot of people reported their packages got stolen and Kylie cosmetics removed the logo from the box and it definitely helped with the situation then.

I 100% agree with you . I would think they would lose more with having the logo on the box. I had a Kylie box stolen because of the logo. That was expensive  !! The company was nice to replace. The next package came came with out the logo. I mean come on guys !! Marketing ppl need to try again. I wonder if they ever tested how effective that even is . I know I never bought anything because of seeing a logo on a package box . It makes me think I hope ppl don't steal it .  Esp during the holidays !!!

True, you make a good point. That being said, Sephora uses the same packaging in France too (for example), so overall it is obviously worth it for them. I know nothing about kilie cosmetics, but look at Amazon: their products are always in boxes with the logo, and they sell a lot of stuff that could be very pricy and useful for a lot more people than Sephora's products. I hope you were able to resolve the issue and get your order after all.

I'm sorry to hear that your package is missing! Maybe you need to rent a P.O. Box?   

Perhaps your package will be delivered today instead?  I have seen that happen.        

You would be able to talk to Customer Service at 1-877-737-4672.  Or you can contact Customer Service online at the bottom of the Sephora page.  This will be faster than starting a Thread on here.  Good luck.

A P.O. Box won't prevent people from stealing !! The Kylie lip kits were stolen between the Kylie warehouse and the usps warehouse. A lot were not even stolen at people's apartments . I'm glad this person shared their experience. Maybe a change can be made . That is what forums are for .

I called before I posted here and they said they couldn' help me at all 😞 I want to see if others have similar experiences and how their situations were handled
