L’occitane shower gel has a weird consistency 

I bought the L’occitane shower oil during the sale, I loved it so much that I decided to grab a bigger bottle. The thing is the oil in the bigger bottle was a different texture and scent than the one I previously bought. It’s more like a “gel” and I can see the sediment in the bottle. There’s no expiration date, just says 12 months from the time it was opened. Is this normal?
