Shipping in Canada during Covid-19

Hello,

I would like to shop Sephora and the issue I am facing is that whenever I do shop online, my package ships with Canada post. During this pandemic, in my area we have been asked not to use Canada post as they are inundated with packages and all packages go to a post office where we pick it up from and not to our homes.

I was wondering if there is any way around using Canada post? If I choose express shipping, will it be shipped with UPS or Fedex? Is there any way to guarantee this?

Any information or help with my situation is much appreciated. I would really like to shop Sephora soon!

Thank you for your post! Orders shipped to Canada may be shipped with Canada Post, Fedex, or Fleet Optics and the shipping carrier is determined at our Distribution Centers. I'm sorry our clients are unable to select a specific shipping carrier at checkout! However, if you do select Express shipping, your package will likely ship with Fedex. (This depends on postal code and a few other factors.) But it is not guaranteed. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please send me a PM.

I am having the same problem. I ordered a package from another company and they use Canada Post exclusively. The company informed me that the package will be delayed and it will be going to the post office! For safety, all packages should go direct to door during COVID-19. I am very disappointed in Canada Post. Canada Post’s customer service was not helpful or polite.

I completely agree. It makes more sense to offer door to door delivery during this time as there is less risk of exposure since it's dropped at the doorstep. 

I am trying not to order too much and contacting each company to see if I can even pay extra for them to not send it with Canada post because even they said they do not want us coming to pick up packages from the post office at this time.

Wish more options were offered by companies, especially during this time
