Sephora Gift Cards Not Working

I received a $100 gift card from Walgreens, and keep receiving an "invalid" message when trying to use it online. I still have the Walgreens receipt and know the card was legitimate. I've also ensured I am entering the numbers correctly. My card number only has 14 digits rather than 16 - I called customer service and they offered me no help, other than to contact the gift card company. This seems crazy to me after spending so much money here - there has to be some other way they can resolve this issue?
