Sephora Credit Card Reward

Today is 9/26/24.  I am trying to apply $45 in credit card rewards to my order.  I have tried multiple times on different devices using different browsers.  I have applied credit card rewards in the past and know how to do it.  Every time I try to apply the rewards I get this message:  "Sephora Credit Card rewards cannot be applied."  No explanation is provided. I  tried putting different types of items in different amounts (both less than and more than $45) into my cart and it doesn't matter how much, how little or what I am trying to purchase -- I get the same message.  I am very frustrated.  Are other credit card holders having this problem?  If it is a problem at Sephora's end I will just wait for Sephora to fix it.  The rewards expire in December 2024 (they don't last long) so I would like to use them as soon as possible.

P.S.  The $45 reward is showing on sephora.com in my cart and when I go to check out.  But when I click on "apply" I get a message that it cannot be applied without any explanation of what the problem is.  Since the reward is there, I don't think this is a Comenity issue, I think there is a tech glitch on sephora.com .

I am having the exact same issue, there’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to use them

Why can’t you just answer these questions publicly so that we can search for the answer? I’m having the same problem, and it would be nice to just be able to see what the answer is.
