Sephora App: constantly being logged out and phantom notifications

This is a two-fer:

1. I keep getting logged out of the app. I don't remember the last time I opened it up and the app was still logged in. This is ANNOYING. I'm on an iPhone X, iOS 12.1.1.

2. I keep getting phantom notifications for items left in my cart. There's nothing in my cart. This seems to happen a LOT if I put items in my cart in my phone and buy them online or vice versa.

TBH this is about to make me turn off notifications altogether, which sucks because I like getting notifications about new promos, but the "OMG GHOSTING IS SO NOT COOL" is not only annoying, it's cringey even if I do have something in my cart.
