Sephora App Bug?

I tried opening the Sephora app earlier and it prompted that it needs to be updated. I clicked ok to proceed but it just redirected me to the Play Store (Android). It just shows only an Uninstall and Open buttons. I clicked on "Open" but just put me in an endless loop until I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app instead. I thought this would at least automatically install the updated app but it didn't. It still gave me the prompt. I really find it more convenient going through the app instead of the mobile website. Please help!

Hi guys! This issue should now be fixed. Please try closing out the app completely and restarting. If you are still experiencing this issue, please send me a PM.

I had the same issue on my iPhone. They claim to have made some updates in the app, but looks like have instead created a bug. I got tired of unsuccessfully trying to update the app. Eventually just went ahead and deleted it and then downloaded it again. That solved my problem, but I still don’t see any changes in the app for which all of this stated in the first place.🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m having the same issue too on my IPhone. Sephora, I’m less likely to shop from you without the app!! Please fix!
