Same Day Delivery Missing

Yesterday I ordered same day delivery before weather got bad in my area because I was scared of getting stuck in traffic during a tropical storm warning with my 2 kids. We all know a quick trip to the store turns into 2 hours with kids 

Well the weather wasnt bad when my order was on the way. I get the notification that it was delivered, and the picture of “proof of delivery” is a completely different doorstep 😐 rain started picking up so I checked the two surrounding fourplexes really quick and found nothing. 

I reached out to customer service and pretty much hit a wall with them. I explained to them that the weather got worse, we ended up under a tornado warning, flash flood warning and tropical storm warning (which I stated several times). They told me that they couldn’t give me a refund for the order because the picture is proof of delivery even though its a different apartment door, the driver could have even stole it, at this point I dont know anymore. So customer service told me to go outside and look for. During a storm???? Even if I look after the storm wouldn’t it be wet and blown away. If the wind is blowing trampolines several houses down and ripping trees from the ground, what makes you think my order will still be there???

This is absolutely ridiculous, never am I doing this again. Worse experience ever, Sephora could care less that im out of my money and dont even have my products. I dont even have an order number to reach out to DoorDash for assistance.
