Sad about Shipping and Samples

I signed up for Flash Shipping this week so I could purchase The Ordinary products as soon as they are in stock. I love Sephora with all of my heart but I am so bummed out this week! My first order came fine but with 2 samples instead of 3 and they weren’t even what I selected (whatever). I also read that items were coming back in stock and people weren’t getting the notification email so I began checking every morning for the products I was looking for and luckily the two I wanted were in stock when I woke up! I quickly checked out, super excited that I scored! Fast foreword to today: my order was partially cancelled due to out of stock items (including all of my samples) again whatever about the samples they are free anyway but it’s still a bummer! Now the one part of my order that wasn’t cancelled isn’t even going to be her until Monday?! Why did I pay for Flash Shipping then?!
