Hello: I have to ask, what is the whole purpose of the reward points. I have almost 5,000 and can’t use the points to buy anything other than the poor selection IF AVAILABLE THE BEST ONES ARE ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK?

I’ve steadily had over 11,000 points for the past three years and I have NEVER been able to redeem them for any of the nicer items on the higher end of the program offerings. It is beyond ridiculous and completely pointless.

I have the same complaint and when I looked up old posts it seems to be an ongoing issue with Sephora’s rewards system for years. Everything is always sold out (500 points and higher) regardless of the time you check ( believe me i checked seconds after their email).

I hope they can fix this, otherwise the whole rewards system is pointless

I'm sorry to hear this! Generally the higher point rewards are more limited and can sell out quickly. We will continue to add new rewards each Thursday and Friday around 9 a.m. PST, so please be sure to stay tuned and check back.
